Abstract: The invention relates to a heterophasic propylene copolymer composition comprising a heterophasic propylene copolymer (A), optionally an ethylene-unit containing polymer (B) and an inorganic filler (C), wherein the heterophasic propylene copolymer (A) consists of a) a propylene-based matrix wherein the propylene-based matrix consists of a propylene homopolymer and/or a propylene copolymer consisting of at least 90 wt % of propylene units and at most 10 wt % of comonomer units selected from ethylene monomer units and α-olefin monomer units having 4 to 10 carbon atoms wherein the propylene-based matrix is present in an amount from 87.0 to 92.0 wt % based on the heterophasic propylene copolymer and b) a dispersed ethylene α-olefin copolymer, wherein the dispersed α-olefin copolymer is present in an amount from 8.0 to 13.0 wt % based on the heterophasic propylene copolymer and wherein the sum of the weight of the propylene-based matrix and the weight of the dispersed ethylene-α-olefin copolymer is 100 wt % based on the heterophasic propylene copolymer, wherein C) the inorganic filler is present in an amount of 0.10 to 4.9 wt % based on the composition wherein the melt flow index of the composition is in the range from 5.0 to 9.0 dg/min as determined according to ISO 1133:2011 at 230° C. and 2.16 kg and wherein the total amount of ethylene units in the composition are in the range from 5.7 to 10.0 wt % based on the composition.

The separated dimers are monomerized to form a stream comprising cyclopentadiene and/or isoprene, which is subsequently separated to form a first product stream comprising primarily isoprene and a second product stream comprising primarily cyclopentadiene.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for the production of modified polyethylene comprising adding a free radical initiator composition and a polar monomer in extrusion of polyethylene materials with a melt mass flow rate (MFR) as determined in accordance with ISO 1133-1 (2011) at 190° C. under a load of 2.16 kg of between 0.5 and 75 g/10 min characterized in that the free radical initiator composition is added in quantities between 0.01 wt % to 5 wt % compared to the total weight of the polyethylene material wherein the extrusion is performed at a temperature between 230° C. and 350° C. Such process allows for the production of modified polyethylenes, such as having an amount of grafted polar monomer, such as maleic anhydride, of >3 wt %, with low amount of free, unreacted monomer whilst maintaining or not significantly modifying melt properties such as melt mass flow rate.
