Abstract: A user equipment (UE) includes first and second subscriber identity modules (SIMs), possibly subscribed to different carriers. When the first SIM is in a connected state and the second SIM is in an idle state, the UE may need to periodically tune away a radio from a first frequency used for communication under the first SIM to a second frequency used for idle mode activity under the second SIM. The UE may provide to the network of the first SIM the second SIMs traffic activity pattern and/or serving frequency so that the network may provide coordinated configuration and/or scheduling for the UE device, e.g., in order to make the action of tuning away (and tuning back) the radio more efficient and/or to decrease the network impact of such radio tune aways (e.g., to decrease wasted uplink scheduling and wasted downlink transmissions for the first SIM).

Abstract: A base station (BS) comprising a processor configured to perform operations is described. Abstract: Some aspects of this disclosure relate to apparatuses and methods for a user equipment (UE) to send a portion of a packet data unit (PDU) to a base station. A radio link control (RLC) layer of the UE generates a PDU and a truncation indicator, where the truncation indicator can indicate a set of truncation points of the PDU. A medium access control (MAC) layer determines whether an uplink transmission size based on an uplink grant is smaller than a first number of bytes included in the PDU. In response to a determination that the uplink transmission size is smaller than the first number of bytes, the MAC layer selects a truncation point from the set of truncation points indicated by the truncation indicator, and remove at least a portion of the PDU to generate a truncated PDU having a second number of bytes smaller than the uplink transmission size.

Abstract: Various radio resource management techniques may be implemented to reduce in-device coexistence issues and/or interference between a Uu link established between a mobile device (first UE) and a base station (first NB), and a sidelink/PC5 link established between the first UE and another mobile device (second UE), where the second UE is served by a different base station (second NB). The first UE may receive, from the first NB, measurement configuration information that enables/configures the first UE to report to the NB any indication(s) of issues caused by communications between the first UE and the second UE over the PC5 link affecting communications between the first UE and the first NB over the Uu link, and/or communications over the Uu link affecting communications over the PC5 link. The first NB may analyze the feedback from the first UE and may implement mitigation measures to reduce/eliminate any interference and/or in-device-coexistence issues.
