Abstract:
A reusable continuously sealing metered dosing one-way valve assembly and delivery system flows a premeasured amount of a sterile flowable substance from a source which is coupled to an actuator assembly to an outlet orifice and prevents any backflow of contaminants through the continuously sealing one way valve assembly when the flowable substance ceases to flow. The valve assembly includes an elastomeric membrane which aids in preventing any backflow of contaminants when dispensing of the flowable substance is stopped. Multiple dosing of preservative-free flowable substance is provided.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for the self-administration of a plurality of doses of an intranasal liquid pharmaceutical composition, including opioid analgesics, that includes a drug delivery device containing a plurality of sealed vials, each vial containing a predetermined volume of the pharmaceutical composition, a pump assembly for conveying the liquid pharmaceutical composition from the interior of the vial and discharging it as a nasal spray in response to manual activation by the patient, and programmable means for sequentially advancing a vial to the ready position after passage of a prescribed time interval following the last activation of the delivery device.
Abstract:
An airless dispensing pump container with an airtight nozzle head of a push down type capable of discharging a fixed amount of content is disclosed, in which a vacuum sealing function is enhanced in the whole structure of the present invention, and a content opening and closing plate of a content opening and closing valve member in the construction of a content discharge part of a nozzle head is automatically opened and closed, along with a reliable discharge of the content, and a reverse flow and leakage are prevented by improving a structure of a content pump piston which sucks and transfers the content. When a pump cylinder is slanted at a certain angle along with the content storing container or in case of a content having high viscosity, it is possible to improve the operation errors of the ball valve by providing an inventive structure of the ball valve support installed at a lower side of the stem.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a dispensing device for applying fluid comprising a pressurized reservoir equipped with a dosing module having at least one dosing chamber which is able to communicate with the reservoir and with a nozzle provided for dispensing a dose of fluid, characterized in that the dosing chamber comprises a moving and/or deformable member which delimits at least a first and a second compartments of variable volume, each compartment having an inlet and an outlet associated with valve means, wherein valve means are controlled according to a first configuration in which the inlet of the first compartment and the outlet of the second compartment are open while the other inlet and outlet being closed, and according to a second configuration in which the inlet of the second compartment and the outlet of the first compartment are open while the other inlet and outlet being closed.
Abstract:
A fluid dispenser device having a body (10), a fluid reservoir (20) containing one or a plurality of doses of fluid, a piston (30) designed to slide in the reservoir so as to dispense a dose of fluid each time the device is actuated, and actuator (40) for displacing the piston (30), the device being characterized in that it includes at least two laterally-actuated elements (50, 60) distributed around the body (10), the laterally-actuated elements (50, 60) being displaced simultaneously in a direction that is approximately transverse to the central axis of the device, and each co-operating with a peripheral edge (41) of the actuator (40) so as to exert an axial force thereon.

Abstract:
A fluid dispenser device comprising a body (1), dispensing means (30) for dispensing the fluid, a first reservoir (10) containing a first fluid and a second reservoir (20) containing a second fluid, the first and second fluids being to be mixed prior to dispensing so as to form one or more doses of fluid to be dispensed, said fluid dispenser device being characterized in that it further comprises a mixture-forming system for mixing the first and second fluids in one of said reservoirs (10, 20), said mixture-forming system having a manual actuating element (50) that is mounted to move in a direction that is substantially perpendicular to the direction in which the fluid is dispensed, said manual actuating element (50) being actuatable with one hand and acting, after said first and second fluids have been mixed, to actuate the dispensing means (30) for dispensing the fluid, without any further manipulation of the device being necessary.
