    Abstract: The invention relates to a polymer alloy composition having a high flow rate, high heat resistance, and excellent chemical resistance. The polymer alloy contains a high molecular weight, hydrophobic acrylic polymer blended with a styrene-acrylonitrile (SAN) or acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylate (ASA) copolymer, and preferably with another high molecular weight (meth)acrylic polymer. The alloy is especially useful for automotive LED lenses and medical devices.

    Abstract: One object of the present invention is to provide an emulsion composition comprising a silicone and an emulsion of a resin having a film forming property, which emulsion composition may provide a coating agent which effectively exhibits slidability of silicone on a substrate, while maintaining transparency. Another object of the present invention is to provide a laminate having a film made of the coating agent. The present invention provides an emulsion composition comprising (I) an emulsion of a resin having a film forming property in a solid content of 60 to 99.9 parts by mass and (II) an emulsion of a silicone-acrylic core-shell resin in solid content of 0.1 to 40 parts by mass, a total mass of the solid contents of components (I) and (II) being 100 parts by mass, wherein a core of the silicone-acrylic core-shell resin (II) is composed of an organopolysiloxane (A), a shell layer of the silicone-acrylic core-shell resin (II) is composed of a poly(meth)acrylate ester (B), a mass ratio of the organopolysiloxane (A) to the poly(meth)acrylate ester (B) is in a range of 40:60 to 95:5, and a covering ratio by the poly(meth)acrylate ester on a surface of the silicone-acrylic core-shell resin is at least 50%.

    Abstract: A room-temperature-curable silicone coating composition comprising



    (A) an organopolysiloxane resin of a three-dimensional net structure which has an R3SiO1/2/SiO4/2 molar ratio of 0.5-1.5, contains a given amount of silanol groups, and has a molecular weight of 2,000-10,000,
    (B) a silane compound having three or more hydrolyzable groups in the molecule and/or a product of partial hydrolytic condensation of the silane compound,
    (C) a linear diorganopolysiloxane in which both ends of the molecular chain have been blocked with silanol groups, and
    (D) a moisture-curing initiator comprising an oligomer of an organotitanium compound, the room-temperature-curable silicone coating composition giving a cured object having a durometer A hardness of 50 or greater.

    This composition can be an alcohol elimination type room-temperature-curable silicone coating composition which can be easily produced at low cost, has excellent long-term storage stability, and gives high-hardness cured objects (coating films), the cured coating films combining transparency with heat resistance.
