Abstract:
A slidable and hinged door, e.g., in a motor vehicle, in which the door is displaceable from the plane of a door opening by at least one swivel arm developed as a double hinge, and, for the sliding function, is displaceable into a plane arranged in front of it that is approximately parallel to it and is slidable in the plane arranged in front of it by a parallel guidance, may be simple to handle and to be operated by motor, at the same time as having a simple arrangement from a construction point of view. The swiveling motions and/or the swiveling possibilities for the operation of the door are able to be activated or determined within the double hinge by servomotors engaging at the first and the second hinge of the double hinge.
Abstract:
A device intended to be applied to section doors, swinging doors and other similar kinds of doors, in order to allow a correct maneuver of the blocking elements when the door is operated by a motor, which includes: a bracket intended for application to the upper edge of a door; a swinging member acting as a square lever, pivoted on the bracket, having a first articulation element for a shaft connected to a motor, and having a second articulation element for a tie-rod connected to the mechanisms for releasing the blocking elements of the door; and a member for limiting the swing field allowed to the swinging member. Preferably, the device includes a strong spring acting between the bracket and the swinging member in the same sense as the traction exerted on the swinging member by the shaft connected to the motor during the operation of opening the door.
Abstract:
A locking arrangement for a door system of a transit vehicle includes a combination of a lock mechanism and an electromagnetic brake. The lock mechanism enables positive locking of at least one door but does not require substantial contact between moving and stationary lock elements. The lock mechanism is connected with the manual release means for door opening during an emergency. The electromagnetic brake maintains door seal compression in the closed and locked condition which improves sealing capabilities and provides for reliable lock mechanism operation. Such combination provides locking redundancy and meets various requirements regarding annunciation and manual release operation.
Abstract:
An angular lever for guiding and moving the door leaf is rotatably mounted in a horizontal plane in the transverse direction in the direct vicinity of the door frame. One of the limbs of the angular lever is permanently connected to the guide rail of the door leaf, and the other, inwardly pointing limb of the angular lever temporarily engages with, and is operatively connected to, a control element on the guide unit in order to displace the door leaf transversely, and is disengaged after a defined transverse displacement of the door leaf. In order to control the further movement sequence in order to open completely and subsequently close the door leaf, the guide arm is operatively connected to the control element. During the closing movement of the door leaf, after the door leaf has run into the door opening, the operative connection of the guide arm to the control arm is released again and at the same time the inwardly pointing limb of the angular lever engages again with, and is operatively connected to, the control element. As a result of the further closing movement of the door leaf, the angular lever assumes its home position and in the process presses the door leaf firmly against the door seal and locks the door leaf.
Abstract:
An operator for use in connection with a door system including an axle having an operator framework supporting an operator motor, the operator framework defining a clearance adapted to insertably receive the axle therein, a gear assembly defining a bore in which the axle is received and including a removable gear segment adapted to selectively medially open the bore to receive the axle, wherein the motor is interconnected with the gear assembly to cause rotation thereof.
Abstract:
A system of panels is described that is used as a room divider and or door. The system includes at least one panel formed of two frames sandwiching an intermediate member made of an opaque or a light transmissive glazing, the frames and intermediate member having substantially identical dimensions and being superimposed. Locking means are also provided that are used to open and close several panels in a telescopic manner.
Abstract:
An unlock mechanism for a rotary door operator of a transit vehicle includes a pivotally disposed unlock member adapted for rotating a lock member into an unlock position and activating a valve for discharging the fluid pressure from the drive cylinder to enable manual opening of the door. A spring is provided for biasing the unlock member to a non-activated position. The unlock member may be activated either with a cable or a lever handle. A lock sensing switch provides a feedback on the lock condition to the transit vehicle control system. Additionally, a guiding bracket is provided for securing the cable in proximity of the unlock member.
Abstract:
A door opener error-start prevention device, comprising □ a door opener machine, an output shaft of which forms a pair of axial sliding slots by means of passing through a central hole, a sliding pin being inserted into the sliding slots, a compression spring in the central hole abutting against the sliding pin; a sprocket assembly which is connected to the output shaft, one end of which comprises a sprocket that synchronously moves with a sprocket of a rolling shaft of a door through a chain, and the other end of which comprises a sleeve, a pair of V-shaped slots being formed in respect to the sliding slots of the output shaft, and respective engaging with both ends of the sliding pin. When the door is jammed with the latch device, due to error-start, rotation of the output of the door opener is hindered, and said sliding pin 27 moves back toward a gradually larger opening, and compresses said swaying plate 30, then a switch device 31 is triggered to switch off an electrical power for said circuit for opening said door, and supplies a reverse current, so as to make said door opener 20 rotate in a reverse direction, and then make the door close and then return back to its original position.
Abstract:
An actuator for driving an operating mechanism that operates an operated member of a vehicle by means of a driving of an electric drive source includes a housing for supporting the electric drive source, a detecting means for detecting an operation status of the operated member or the operating mechanism, a switch connector including an output terminal provided as an electric path from the detecting means, and a power feeding connector formed on the housing and including an input terminal provided as an electric path to the electric drive source and a first engaging portion onto which the switch connector is fit.
Abstract:
A tilt-latch (10) adapted for releasably securing a pivotable sash window (12) disposed within opposed guide rails (16) on a master frame (14) of a window sash assembly (11) is disclosed. The sash window (12) comprises a top sash rail (20), a base (22) and two stiles (24,26) connected together at their extremities. The tilt-latch (10) comprises a housing (42) adapted to be supported by the top rail (20). The housing (42) has an outward end opening (44) and a cover (51).
