Abstract:
For slidably mounting a panel such as a door on a railed track, a roller assembly including a roller having a peripheral groove for sliding on the track rail, housing structure for mounting the roller in the panel, and a rigid metal stabilizer element carried by the housing structure and having a grooved or notched extremity for overlying the rail, in tandem relation to the roller, to prevent derailment of the roller. The stabilizer element is vertically slidable in the housing structure so as to ride smoothly along the rail, accommodating local irregularities or variations in rail height.
Abstract:
A corner connector arrangement is disclosed for use in joining like vertical and horizontal frame sections for use in framing panels in the assembly of sliding doors. The connector, comprised of two clamp sections and having protrusions bearing against the frame sections, is easily attached to any corner thereof, securing said frame section with a clamping engagement.
Abstract:
Wheels for movement along a floor-mounted track at the bottom of a sliding door are shown supported within U-shaped members which are pivotally coupled to brackets secured to the lower edge of the door. The wheels are prevented from being dislodged from the track via retainer elements, each of which is a channel element having an elongated opening in its web and inturned flange terminations at the edges of its walls. An integral plate extends from one side of the channel and is pivotally mounted on the pin or stub shaft extending through the wheel and U-shaped member. The retainer element is significantly longer than the diameter of the wheel, and the flange terminations are snapped over the track and in interference relation with lips of the track. The wheel at its lower portion extends through the opening in the retainer element and rides on the track. When the door is tilted or rocked, the flange terminations remain interlocked with the lips of the track, thereby keeping the wheel on the track while permitting the U-shaped member to pivot on the wheel and the bracket to pivot on the U-shaped member in accommodating the relatively non-parallel relations of the door and track.
Abstract:
A movable partition system that can include branched overhead rails where movable panels, such as glass doors, wall panels, are guided along the branched overhead rails by path guides positioned with the overhead rails. The guide paths are shaped and aligned within the overhead rails to provide a smooth transition at the junction between overhead rails. The combination is suitable for use with both right-angle and oblique angle branched overhead rails.

Abstract:
A door suspension device includes a driving-side member, a hanger, an elastic member, pressed door rollers, and linking mechanisms. The driving-side member is displaceable in an opening direction and a closing direction when a drive force is imparted from an opening and closing drive mechanism. The hanger is displaced in conjunction with a displacement of the driving-side member and supports a door. The elastic member allows relative displacements of the driving-side member and the hanger by elastically deforming in accordance with a load that acts between the driving-side member and the hanger. The linking mechanisms convert a relative displacement operation of the driving-side member and the hanger into an operation in which the pressed door rollers are pressed against an upper rail.
