A casement window operator includes a linear input mechanism configured to be mounted to a stationary frame of a casement window, a linear to rotary motion converter operably coupled to an output of the linear input mechanism, a gear reducer operably coupled to an output of the rotary motion converter, and a sash arm operably coupled to an output of the gear reducer to rotate in conjunction with the output of the gear reducer. The sash arm is configured to extend from the stationary frame of the casement window to a rotatable window sash of the casement window.

An opening and closing device for a vehicle sliding door, including: a latch; a ratchet; a power closer; a closing lever configured to rotate the latch in a closing direction from a half latched position to a fully latched position, by being rotated by motor power of the power closer; a cancel lever configured to shift between: a coupling position where rotation of the closing lever is transmitted to the latch; and a cancel position where rotation of the closing lever is not transmitted to the latch; and a first lever and a second lever configured to move the cancel lever from the coupling position to the cancel position by operation of an operating handle of a sliding door, wherein the cancel lever includes a non-flat reinforced contacting part to which the first lever and the second lever are independently configured to brought into contact.

A door operator including a drive motor having a motor housing and a drive shaft selectively rotatable via electric power, a drive tube for receiving therein the drive motor, wherein the motor housing is secured to the drive tube to prevent rotation therebetween. The door operator further including a first side plate and second side plate with the drive tube rotatably supported therebetween, at least one drive cog secured to the drive tube, wherein the drive cog is engageable with a door to provide translation of the door. The door operator further including a locking gear secured to the drive shaft, a locking plate slidingly coupled to the first side plate, including a gear engagement portion, and a locking lever secured to the locking plate and operational to selectively disengage the gear engagement portion of the locking plate, allowing the locking gear to be rotatable with the motor housing.

A sliding/swing composite door for a vehicle includes a sliding door, an outside handle located on an outer surface of the sliding door, wherein the sliding door is configured to be opened upon a first operation of the outside handle, and a swing door configured to be opened integrally with the sliding door upon a second operation of the outside handle, wherein the swing door is configured to be rotated and opened in a state where the sliding door is fully opened.

An inward-opening type casement window having outward-opening pane and screen is provided. A primary screen is installed, via a first hinge, in a primary casement window frame so as to open inwardly. The primary screen is formed with a secondary frame. A secondary pane is installed, via a second hinge, in the secondary frame so as to open outwardly. A handle lock is installed between the primary screen and the primary casement window frame and between the secondary pane and the secondary frame. The handle lock is used to control opening and closing of the primary screen and the secondary pane. The pane can be swung out to facilitate ventilation, and the screen can prevent entry of insects and burglars. Moreover, the pane can be swung in together with the screen, thereby facilitating access, ventilation and cleansing.

A method for detecting a function actuation on a motor vehicle with a sensor device includes monitoring the signals of a proximity sensor as to a first signal reply S1. The signals of the proximity sensor are monitored for a time period Ts wherein the method is interrupted when the signal reply changes by more than a value St within the period of time Ts. The signal device is actuated after time Ts has expired in order to signal to the user that the actuation of time has expired. The signals of the proximity sensor are monitored for time Te wherein the method is continued when the signal of the proximity sensor changes by more than a predetermined value Se within the period of time Te. Otherwise, the method is interrupted. If the method is continued, the actuation of the function of the motor vehicle is detected and the function trigger is signaled to a control device in the motor vehicle.

The safety door lock includes the door handle configured to be rotatable in the vertical direction and to slidably reciprocate in the horizontal direction and having a sliding groove on the side surface thereof adjacent to a door, a body combined with the inside of the sliding groove to form a rotating shaft with another door handle provided at the other side of the door and supporting sliding of the door handle so as to protrude the door handle from the front end of the door, and an elastic unit fixed to the body, relatively sliding within the sliding groove and elastically relaxing the door handle and the body.
