Abstract:
In example implementations, the end cap of a vertical panel door stacking system is coupled to a panel. The end cap includes a body portion, a cam lever to rotate around an axis to generate a lift force to lift and separate an adjacent panel of a plurality of panels of the vertical panel door stacking system, a first track wheel, a second track wheel, and a third track wheel.
Abstract:
A soundproof door system includes a chute; a door body, where a bottom of the door body is inserted into the chute and able to slide along the chute; a first roller disposed on the bottom of the door body and supported on a bottom wall of the chute; a first soundproof plate provided with a first end connected to the door body and a second end abutting against an inner wall of the chute; a second soundproof plate provided with a third end connected to the door body and a fourth end abutting against the inner wall of the chute; and the first end and the third end are respectively located on two sides of the door body, and the second end and the fourth end are respectively located on both sides of the door body.
Abstract:
Example methods and systems to indicate the status of door operations are disclosed. An example door system includes a door panel having a leading edge to be moved in a travel direction between an open position and a closed position relative to the doorframe. The door panel to block the passageway when the leading edge is at the closed position. The door panel to unblock the passageway when the leading edge is at the open position. The example door system also includes a series of lights distributed along the travel direction proximate the doorframe. The example door system further includes a controller to switch the lights between a first state and a second state to provide a visual effect of movement corresponding to the operating status of the door system.

Abstract:
A system for allowing a loading dock door to release from a track upon being struck by a fork lift or other sufficiently strong force. The system employs a unique track profile with one or more sidewalls that have an angled sidewall profile to allow a release assembly to move up the sidewall and out of the tracks, and a tensioned or spring loaded release assembly that allows the assembly to flex enough to ride up the sidewall and out of the tracks when the door is impacted.
Abstract:
The present disclosure includes a retrofitted door brake. The retrofitted door brake may, in various embodiments, comprise a hub comprising a cylindrical central axle, a plurality of projections extending radially away from an outer circumference of the central axle, and/or a cam comprising a plurality of pins that hold the projections away from a channel wall of a brake housing. The pins may be configured to break away from the cam to release the projections into contact with the channel wall, and the pins may be fitted with a cover, such that the pins are capable of withstanding abrasion and wear. The cover may comprise a cylinder having an axially running aperture, and/or a beveled edge that shaves a layer of the outer surface from one of the plurality of pins as it is fitted over the pin.
Abstract:
A sliding panel shelf is provided that includes an upper track bracket, a slide panel clip, and a first panel. The upper track bracket includes a longitudinally-extending and downward-facing channel which includes first and second longitudinal-extending rails. The first and second longitudinal-extending rails are spaced apart from each other. The slide panel clip includes a bearing head with spaced apart first and second bearing members and first and second spaced apart depending walls. The first panel is located between the first and second spaced apart depending walls suspending the first panel from the slide panel clip.
Abstract:
A personnel access door assembly of an opposing wing of a mine ventilation door. The personnel access door includes a frame including a top portion, a bottom portion, a first post portion and a second post portion, the top frame portion and the bottom frame portion coupled to respective top and bottom ends of the first post and second post portions. The personnel access door further includes sets of trolley wheels affixed to the top or bottom of the frame to engage a top rail or bottom rail affixed on the opposing wing.
Abstract:
A track for a roll-up industrial door. The track may include realigners adapted to divert the path of the industrial door as it is opened or shut. For example, a realigner may include a tapered portion to maintain a portion of the door within the track as the door is shut. Another realigner may have a tapered portion arranged to direct a portion of the door onto the track after it has been removed from the track. The tracks may be utilized in conjunction with a break-away industrial door having a flexible frame that is adapted to come out of the guide track upon application of a predetermined force.
Abstract:
A method of feeding an animal in a feeding box including in no particular order, at least the actions of: a) registering the presence of the animal in the feeding box, b) closing the feeding box and locking the feeding box in such a way that access to the feeding box is impeded for an animal outside the feeding box, c) supplying feed to the animal in the feeding box in a chosen eating period of time. For an animal that does not leave the feeding box after an initially chosen eating period of time has elapsed, the initially chosen eating period of time beginning immediately after the performance of step b), within a first waiting time span chosen contiguously to said period of time, in which the animal is given the possibility of leaving the feeding box, step c) is repeated at least once.
