Abstract: A tank includes a secondary insulation barrier, a secondary sealing membrane resting on the secondary insulation barrier, a primary insulation barrier resting on the secondary sealing membrane, a primary sealing membrane resting on the primary insulation barrier, and a primary reinforcing member. The primary sealing membrane includes primary corrugations and the secondary sealing membrane includes secondary corrugations projecting toward the interior of the tank. The primary and secondary corrugations are superimposed along a thickness direction. The primary insulation barrier has passages, and the secondary corrugations are accommodated in the passages. A dimension of the primary insulation barrier is less than a dimension of the secondary corrugations along the thickness direction, so the secondary corrugations extend through the passages and are partially accommodated in the primary corrugations. The primary reinforcing member is interposed along the thickness direction between superimposed primary and secondary corrugations so as to reinforce the primary corrugation.

Abstract: A fluid storage container includes an inner vessel part having a first interior space (S1) for storing a fluid, an outer vessel part having a second interior space (S2) that accommodates the inner vessel part and spaced apart from the inner vessel part outwards, and a suspension part provided between the inner vessel part and the outer vessel part, one side of which contacts the inner vessel part, and an opposite side of which contacts the outer vessel part. The suspension part includes an inner member, one end of which is coupled to the inner vessel part and which extends from the one end thereof outwards, and an outer member, one end of which is coupled to the outer vessel part, which extends from the one side thereof inwards, and coupled to the inner member. The outer member is formed of a material having a thermal conductivity that is lower than that of the inner member.

The block further includes a first inner channel for providing fluid communication for at least some of the cavities, the first inner channel including an opening facing at least one surface of the block, at least one connector operable in a fluid-tight manner on the opening of the inner channel and adapted to be connected to a source of hydrogen gas, and metal powders placed in the inner cavities.

Abstract: A pressure vessel for containing a pressurized fluid is disclosed. An outer shell may define a cavity where the fluid is stored. An inner matrix substantially fills the cavity and undertakes a majority of the forces exerted by the stored fluid. The inner matrix is a series of interconnected nodes with a series of voids located therebetween. The voids contact one another so that fluid may flow therebetween, thus filling the cavity. The interconnected nodes are filleted at the points of contact to reduce stress concentrations. An inlet/outlet device may selectively permit the introduction and removal of the fluid from the cavity.

Abstract: An apparatus for storing and transporting a cryogenic fluid. The apparatus is carried onboard a ship. The apparatus including a sealed and thermally insulating tank intended for the storage of the cryogenic fluid in a state of liquid-vapor diphasic equilibrium, the apparatus including at least two sealed pipes passing through the tank in such a way as to define a passage for the removal of the vapor phase of the cryogenic fluid from inside to outside the tank, the two sealed pipes each including a collection end opening inside the tank at the level of the sealing membrane of the top wall. The collecting ends of two sealed pipes open to the inside of the tank at the level of two zones of the top wall which are situated at two opposite ends of the top wall.

Abstract: Provided is a liquefied gas treatment system for a vessel, which includes a cargo tank storing liquefied natural gas (LNG), and an engine using the LNG as fuel. The liquefied gas treatment system includes: a compressor line configured to compress boil-off gas (BOG) generated in the cargo tank by a compressor and supply the compressed BOG to the engine as fuel; a high pressure pump line configured to compress the LNG stored in the cargo tank by a pump and supply the compressed LNG to the engine as fuel; and a heat exchanger configured to liquefy a part of BOG, which is compressed by the compressor, by exchanging heat with BOG that is discharged from the cargo tank and transferred to the compressor.

Abstract: A cryogenic tank includes a heat insulating material layer which is disposed between a concrete wall and a membrane and includes a secondary barrier layer in an inner portion of the heating insulating material, and a membrane anchor mechanism which penetrates the secondary barrier layer, is fixed to the concrete wall, and presses the membrane. The membrane anchor mechanism includes a seal portion which covers a through portion penetrating the secondary barrier layer.
