Abstract: A low profile flat bombe for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) storage and method for manufacturing the same, may include a flat bombe body including an upper plate having a plurality of first piercing holes and a pump installation hole formed therethrough, a lower plate having a plurality of second piercing holes formed therethrough at positions vertically coinciding with the plurality of first piercing holes, and side plates integrally connecting first and second side end portions of the upper and lower plates, end plates mounted at front and rear openings in the flat bombe body, and support pipes, wherein upper end portions of the support pipes are welded to internal circumferential portions of the plurality of first piercing holes and lower end portions thereof are welded to internal circumferential portions of the plurality of second piercing holes to maintain a vertical distance between the upper and lower plates.

Abstract: An array of pressure vessels for storage of a compressed gas includes at least one Type 4 pressure vessel and at least one Type 1 pressure vessel. The Type 1 pressure vessel is in fluid communication with the at least one Type 4 pressure vessel. A metal wall of the at least one Type 1 pressure vessel has a Type 1 thermal conductance that is greater than a Type 4 thermal conductance of the at least one Type 4 pressure vessel.

Abstract: A system for dispensing cryogenic liquid includes a container defining an interior with a partition dividing the interior into primary and reserve chambers. Cryogenic liquid within the primary chamber is separated from cryogenic liquid in the reserve chamber. The partition provides a headspace communication passage so that the headspaces of the primary and reserve chambers are in fluid communication with one another. A primary pressure building circuit has an inlet selectively in liquid communication with the primary chamber and an outlet in fluid communication with the headspaces of the primary and reserve chambers. A reserve pressure building circuit has an inlet selectively in liquid communication with the reserve chamber and an outlet in fluid communication with the headspaces of the primary and reserve chambers of the tank. An equalizing circuit is selectively in liquid communication with the primary and reserve chambers. A dispensing line is selectively in liquid communication with the primary chamber.

Abstract: When manufacturing a low-temperature tank (1), a plurality of unit tanks (10) that are able to be connected together by mutually different objects, and that are each capable of storing low-temperature liquefied gas are manufactured in a factory that is distant from a construction site. The unit tanks (10) are then transported to the construction site, and an inner tank (2) is then assembled at the construction site by connecting together the plurality of unit tanks (10). An outer tank (3) is then formed around the inner tank (2).

Abstract: A fail safe container and container insert are disclosed. A flexible container insert may convert energy from a catastrophic event, including but not limited to collisions, accidents, impacts, pressure container failures or explosions such as detonations, or other catastrophic incidents, into a stretching of an internal structure of a fail-safe container insert to minimize or prevent failure of the container insert and/or the container. The stretchability of the container insert may accommodate both temperature and shape changes to protect a container, including but not limited to a pressure vessel, from rupture or other failure. Accordingly, a container insert may be considered self-healing in that it may absorb the effects of catastrophic events to prevent failure, may return to a generally previous condition, and/or may seal or otherwise reduce or minimize breaches when they do occur.
