Abstract: The present embodiments may provide a touch display device including: a display panel in which a plurality of data lines, a plurality of gate lines, and a plurality of touch electrodes are disposed; a gate-driving circuit configured to drive the plurality of gate lines; a data-driving circuit configured to drive the plurality of data lines; and a touch-driving circuit configured to drive the plurality of touch electrodes while the plurality of data lines and the plurality of gate lines are driven. In this touch display device, while a touch-driving signal swings with a predetermined amplitude, a data signal and a gate signal may also swing with the predetermined amplitude. According to the present embodiments, it is possible to enable high-speed image display and high-speed touch sensing, to perform a display operation and a touch operation simultaneously, and to display an image normally without any image change.

Abstract: A novel input/output panel that is highly convenient and reliable is provided. The input/output panel includes a gate wiring, a first electrode, a second electrode, a current sensing circuit, and a pixel. The first electrode is electrically connected to the gate wiring. The second electrode intersects with the gate wiring and is provided so that capacitance is generated between the first electrode and the second electrode. The current sensing circuit is electrically connected to the second electrode and has a function of sensing a change in the capacitance. The pixel includes a transistor and a display element. The transistor includes a gate electrode, a source electrode, and a drain electrode. The gate electrode is electrically connected to the gate wiring. The display element includes a third electrode and a liquid crystal material. The third electrode is electrically connected to the source electrode or the drain electrode.

Abstract: An FFS (Fringe Field Switching) mode liquid crystal display (LCD) panel and a liquid crystal display device are provided. The ITS mode LCD panel includes a color film substrate including a first planar layer and an array substrate including a second planar layer. The inner surface of the first planar layer or the second planar layer, which is corresponding to non-overlapping regions, has a plurality of wedge structures thereon. The non-overlapping regions are regions located above the common electrode which is not overlapped with projective areas of the pixel electrode being projected on the common electrode.

Abstract: A liquid crystal display device according to FFS technology is capable of providing a common electrode with common electric potential. A pixel electrode is formed of a first layer transparent electrode. A common electrode made of a second layer transparent electrode is formed above the pixel electrode interposing an insulation film between them. The common electrode in an upper layer is provided with a plurality of slits. The common electrode extends over all the pixels in a display region. An end of the common electrode is disposed on a periphery of the display region and connected with a peripheral common electric potential line that provides a common electric potential Vcom. There is provided neither an auxiliary common electrode line nor a pad electrode, both of which are provided in a liquid crystal display device according to a conventional art.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a display panel comprises: a cholesteric liquid crystal cell configured to convert a light passing therethrough into a polarized light; a first light modulator, which is provided at a light output side of the cholesteric liquid crystal cell and directly contacts the cholesteric liquid crystal cell, configured to generate a phase retardation in the polarized light passing therethrough so as to modulate a polarization of the polarized light; a first linear polarizer provided at a side of the first light modulator opposite from the cholesteric liquid crystal cell and configured to selectively permit the polarized light modulated by the first light modulator to pass therethrough. The present invention also discloses a display apparatus.

Abstract: A liquid crystal display device comprising a TFT substrate having pixels each including a common electrode formed on an organic passivation film, an interlayer insulating film formed so as to cover the common electrode, a pixel electrode having a slit and formed on the interlayer insulating film, a through-hole formed in the organic passivation film and the interlayer insulating film, and a source electrode electrically conducted to the pixel electrode via the through-hole. A taper angle at a depth of D/2 of the through-hole is equal to or more than 50 degrees. The pixel electrode covers part of a side wall of the through-hole but does not cover the remaining part of the side wall of the through-hole. This configuration facilitates the alignment film material to flow into the through-hole, thereby solving a thickness unevenness of the alignment film in vicinity of the through-hole.

Abstract: A display panel and the method of manufacturing the same, includes a first substrate disposed relatively to a second substrate, disposed above the first substrate. A black matrix, a poly silicon layer, a gate layer and a source drain layer disposed successively on the first substrate along direction facing the second substrate. The black matrix shelters the surrounding light which is incident from the first substrate onto the poly crystal layer, and the gate layer and the source-drain layer shelter the backlight which is incident from the second substrate onto the poly crystal layer. The manufacturing method of the display panel of the present invention could be simplified by the method described above.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of display technology, and discloses an array substrate, a manufacturing method thereof and a display device, for reducing the light leakage of a display device. The array substrate comprises a plurality of pixel regions arranged in arrays on a base substrate, two adjacent ones of the pixel regions having a signal line arranged therebetween, and the pixel regions and the signal line having a gap therebetween, wherein the array substrate further comprises at least one light-leakage-proof electrode arranged to be insulated from the pixel regions and the signal line, and the vertical projection of the light-leakage-proof electrode on the base substrate at least covers a portion of the vertical projection of the gap on the base substrate. The present invention is applicable in the field of display technology.
