    Abstract: A carbon nanotube thermophone is provided. The thermophone includes high temperature rated shells as protective walls as the top and bottom housing of the thermophone with carbon nanotube sheets affixed between the shells. The shells act as acoustic windows that match the surrounding frequency and acoustic radiation medium. A high temperature rated sealant gasket is used to enclose the shells of the thermophone where gas holes are inserted for interior heavy gas filling. The acoustic resonant frequency is defined by the dimensions of the housing of the thermophone and the sound speed of the filled heavy gas. Each carbon nanotube sheet has an electrode at both ends. Multiple carbon nanotube sheets can electrically tune the impedance to match a driving amplifier impedance load.

    Abstract: A sound masking system includes a self-amplified loudspeaker emitter unit, with a driver and enlarged ported enclosure, sufficient to provide a frequency range down to a low frequency, such as about 125 Hz. To deliver the power, the power distribution architecture includes audio power amplifiers in the emitter housing of each loudspeaker. Raw power is delivered to each emitter unit through a cable and connectors, such as an Ethernet cable and connectors, in the same cable with the sound masking and audio signals. Inside the emitter units are electronics that efficiently convert the raw power and low level signal to drive the loudspeaker directly. The power comes from a typical desktop power supply, from which the power is combined with the sound masking and audio signals using a power injector unit that distributes the combined power and signals to loudspeakers. The loudspeakers can connect to an individually addressed sound masking network.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses an integrated karaoke device, including a microphone and a sound box. The sound box includes a sound chamber (400) containing a loudspeaker (500). The integrated karaoke device further includes a connecting part (100) made of flexible material that is fixedly connected between a bottom of the microphone and a top of the sound chamber (400). The use of a flexible material connecting part (100) rather than a solid structural part reduces the transmission to the microphone of sound vibration generated by the sound box. The beneficial effect of implementing the present invention is that a flexible material connecting part is fixedly connected between the bottom of the microphone and the top of the sound chamber, and meanwhile, a gap is kept between the bottom of a printed circuit board (PCB) and the top of the sound chamber; and because the flexible material connecting part can effectively reduce sound vibration, the transmission of vibration to the microphone from the sound box can be effectively eliminated, thereby preventing squealing, and enabling integration of the microphone and the sound box for use in karaoke.
