    Abstract: A guide and rail assembly and system for stabilizing a shower door and stationary panel of a shower enclosure are disclosed. The assembly includes an exterior slider bracket configured for mounting on top edge of stationary panel, an exterior slider guide block configured for mounting on top edge of shower door, and an interior slider bracket configured to be housed within a longitudinal channel of the exterior slider guide block such that exterior slider guide block sets atop interior slider bracket and is secured thereto. The assembly further includes a front housing plate configured for attaching to bottom edge of the shower door, a roller bearing component configured to be slidably disposed along top surface of bottom guard rail of shower enclosure, a rear housing plate, and a cover plate configured to be secured to the rear housing plate. Cover plate and rear housing plate are positioned opposite of bottom edge of shower door from front housing plate such that roller bearing component is slidably disposed therebetween front housing plate and rear housing plate in an assembled configuration.

    Abstract: A vehicle having a sliding door arranged behind a body pillar, a frame around the door opening closeable by the sliding door, a rail system provided in the region of the sliding door connected fixedly to the vehicle and having upper and lower guide rails, sliding carriages provided on the sliding door connected to the sliding door via a respective supporting arm and guided displaceably on the guide rails, and side impact protection in the region of the sliding door. At least one of the sliding carriages or supporting arms is provided with a stop. In the event of a side impact, in which the outer vehicle wall is deformed in the direction of the vehicle interior, an abutment connected to the vehicle wall comes to bear against the stop of the sliding carriage or of the supporting arm, and the position of the sliding door is thereby blocked.

    Abstract: A fully frameless sliding shower door assembly. The assembly dispenses with the need for vertical framing members by using a panel of sufficient strength to be fully self-supporting. The need for an upper horizontal header member is eliminated by using a unique upper guide assembly wherein the guide is fixed to the movable shower door and configured to slide about a top edge of the stationary shower door. The need for a lower horizontal rail member is eliminated by the use of a unique, self-centering roller assembly that is attachable to the door panel without the need for a rail member. The roller assembly features matching inverted and non-inverted generally U-shaped profiles on the roller and track, respectively. The shower door assembly further features inboard and outboard roller finger guards, as well as a track leveling feature which improves ease of installation.

    Abstract: A window regulator prevents a carrier plate from derailing from a guide rail by preventing the generation of a force which is applied when the carrier plate and a stopper member collide with each other and which lifts up the carrier plate. In the window regulator, an impact absorption body is installed in a press fitting recess of the carrier plate. The impact absorption body is made of an elastic material for absorbing an impact caused by a collision between the carrier plate and the stopper member that regulates a slide position of the carrier plate. A collision surface formed on the stopper member is tilted toward the carrier plate with respect to a plane that is perpendicular to an axis of the guide rail such that the collision surface pushes the carrier plate down toward the guide rail when it collides with the impact absorbing body.
