Examples of vehicle assemblies with movable door assemblies include charge port housing assemblies and fuel fill housing assemblies. An exemplary vehicle assembly may include an override retainer. The override retainer may include a flexible flap or clip that is configured to deflect or otherwise distort to release a latching assembly from the door assembly when a manual override force is applied to the door assembly.

Abstract: A door opener capable of controlling the door closing speed includes a driving device and a generator mode operating module electrically connected to the driving device. The driving device includes a motor which can be supplied with power to pivot a door from an open position to a closed position. The driving device detects the position of the door by a switch. When pivotal movement of the door is achieved without supplying power to the door, the pivotal movement sets the generator mode operating module to a generator mode or a non-generator mode. In the generator mode, the motor is impeded by the electromagnetic resistance, such that the pivoting speed of the door is reduced. In the non-generator mode, the motor is not impeded by the electromagnetic resistance, such that the pivoting speed of the door is increased.

Abstract: A latch for use in a vehicle including a catch, a pawl, a motor including a motor shaft, and drivetrain including, a first gear and a pawl lifter. The first gear is configured to rotate about a first axis as the motor shaft rotates when the drivetrain is in the operating state and defining an aperture configured to receive an opening tool and translate along the first axis from a first position to a second position to change the drivetrain from the operating state to the service state, when the opening tool is inserted into the aperture. When the first gear is in the second position, the first gear is configured to pivot the pawl lifter to move the pawl from the pawl closed position of the pawl open position.

Abstract: A furniture drive includes base body to be fixed to a furniture carcass, an actuating arm to be fixed to a movable furniture part, and a locking device for locking the actuating arm to the base body. Abstract: A dump gate system for a fluid hopper in a firefighting aircraft. A gate sealably engages a gate opening in the hopper at a closed position. The gate is hingedly connected about the gate opening, and a drive shaft is supported within the hopper. A crank arm is fixed to the drive shaft and is further coupled to the gate by a connecting link. The crank arm and the connecting link define an over-center geometry while the gate is at the closed position, such that weight of the fluid on the gate induces torque on the drive shaft in a gate-closing direction. An electric motor is selectively coupled to rotate the drive shaft in a gate-opening direction to thereby enable control of the fluid flow from the hopper according to an angular position of the drive shaft.

Abstract: A vehicle barrier gate system which is positioned above a roadway through which vehicles pass. Some of the various embodiments of the present disclosure include a gate comprised of an arm and barrier which is adjustable between a raised position in which a vehicle may pass and a lowered position in which a vehicle is prevented from passing. The gate may be movably connected to a ceiling or an overhead support structure positioned above the roadway. Various types of actuators may be utilized to adjust the gate along a linear and/or angular path between the raised and lowered positions. A control unit may be in communication with one or more sensors and/or an authorization system to control the actuator. The gate may include a breakaway mechanism which allows the gate to be manually raised or lowered in the event of actuator failure or a vehicle ramming through the gate.
