Abstract: One or more embodiments relate to a multi-phase voltage regulator with AVP or droop configured to implement a non-linear load line. According to certain aspects, the non-linear load line can have a non-linear or zero slope in a first current/voltage region and a constant non-zero slope in second current/voltage region. In embodiments, the non-linear or zero slope region can specify that for any value of output current in that region, the output voltage will be the same predetermined value. The non-zero slope region can specify that for any value of the output current in that region, output current will be multiplied by a constant non-zero droop resistance value.

Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for adjusting a power capability of a system is described. In an example, a system can include an antenna array and a beamformer connected to the antenna array. The beamformer can include a communication channel. The system can further include a first power converter that can be configured to convert a supply voltage to a first regulated voltage. The first power converter can apply the first regulated voltage to the beamformer. The system can further include a second power converter that can be configured to convert the supply voltage to a second regulated voltage different from the first regulated voltage. The second power converter can apply the second regulated voltage to a power amplifier in the communication channel to adjust a maximum power capability of the power amplifier.

Abstract: A current sensing circuit and a minimum operating frequency for a wireless power transmission system is presented. A method of measuring current through a wireless power transmit coil, includes receiving a signal from a switching circuit into a sampling circuit; filtering the sampled signal from the sampling circuit; biasing the filtered sampled signal, wherein the biasing occurs only when the sampling circuit is active; and amplifying the biased signal to provide a transmit coil current signal. In one embodiment, this functionality can be performed through the steps of displaying a set of microcontroller properties that are available for configuration, receiving user information regarding a first value corresponding to a first microcontroller property, determining whether the user information results in a valid microcontroller configuration, and in response to determining that the user information results in a valid microcontroller configuration, generating compiled code for the microcontroller.

Abstract: One or more embodiments relate to a reference voltage control circuit for a buck-boost converter. According to certain aspects, embodiments can increase or decrease the reference voltage for an error amplifier for controlling a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal when there is a change in the mode of operation. In these and other embodiments, the reference voltage control circuit is configured to modify the reference voltage by increasing or decreasing the reference voltage when there is a change in the mode of operation, so as to reduce overshoot or undershoot disturbances in the regulated output voltage during such transitions.
