    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for enabling a network equipment to reduce interference for downlink (DL) transmissions to a first device by determining a transmit precoding matrix indicator (TPMI) for uplink (UL) transmissions transmitted by a second device based on feedback from the first device. The first device may determine a subset of possible TPMIs that the second device may use for UL transmissions for full-duplex communications. The first device may indicate the subset to the network equipment. Based on the subset indicated by the first device, the network equipment may determine a pairing of the first device and the second device for full-duplex communications. Additionally, the network equipment may determine a TPMI for the second device to use in UL transmissions and indicate the TPMI to the second device.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for channel state information (CSI) reporting with frequency domain (FD) compression. A method that can be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes determining the size of the intermediate set based on one or more parameters included in the CSI report configuration, determining one or more FD bases for each layer based on the intermediate set, wherein the one or more FD bases are characterized by an M value indicative of a number of the one or more FD bases and based on the CSI report configuration, and reporting the one or more FD bases for each layer based on the size of the intermediate set.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for precoder matrix quantization for compressed channel state information (CSI) feedback. A method for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a CSI report configuration for frequency domain compressed precoder matrix feedback. The CSI report configuration configures the UE to report, for a plurality of selected beams at a plurality of time domain taps, a frequency domain compression basis vector and a plurality of linear combination coefficients associated with the frequency domain compression. For each of the beams, the UE groups the time domain taps into at least first and second groups. The groups each can have zero, one, or more than one time domain taps. The UE quantizes the corresponding linear combination coefficients and/or frequency domain compression basis vectors based on the grouping.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling indicating a first subset of channel measurement resources (CMRs) from a first CMR group for single transmission reception point (TRP) channel measurements associated with a first TRP, a second subset of CMRs from a second CMR group for single TRP channel measurements associated with a second TRP, and one or more CMR pairs including CMRs from the first subset and second subset. The UE may monitor the first subset, the second subset, and the one or more CMR pairs to generate a set of measurements for channel state information (CSI). The UE may then transmit a CSI report based on the set of measurements and including a number of bits to indicate one or more channel resource indicators (CRIs), where the number of bits is based on a number of the CMR pairs.

A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of first and second channel measurement resources (CMR) for measuring channel state information (CSI), each CMR associated with first and second transmission configuration indicator states (TCI). The UE may determine CSI for a joint transmission hypothesis which includes two rank indicators, two layer indicators, and two precoding matrix indicators, and may determine a priority for including each indicator in the CSI. In some cases, a UE may identify more than one CSI to transmit, and may determine an ordering of the one or more CSIs based on the CMR, and whether each of the one or more CSIs is associated with a single transmission hypothesis of the joint transmission hypothesis. Based on the various ordering rules of the CSI, the UE may generate and transmit CSI reporting.
