Abstract:
A viscous damper having improved versatility, easy to produce, capable of reducing production cost The viscous damper comprises an annular inertial mass body (14) received in a case (10) together with a damping liquid, and a hub (11) for fixing the case on the rotary shaft of an internal combustion engine. The case comprises a case main body (12) of substantially U-shaped cross section, and a cover (7) for liquid-tightly closing an opening (12d) directed to one axial side of the main body, and defining a sealed chamber (13) in the inside. The inertial mass body is made by superposing and joining a plurality of annular plates (14a). By thrust bearings (5) attached in holes (8) in the annular plate on both axial sides of the inertial mass body and by a journal bearing (6) attached in a recessed groove (9) in the inner periphery of the inertial mass body, the inertial mass body is supported on both axial sides and radially and disposed for peripheral rotation in the sealed chamber (13).
Abstract:
An obstacle detection device includes: an obstacle detection section (11) for emitting beams having a predetermined divergence angle consecutively in a plurality of different directions, receiving a reflected wave from an obstacle for each direction, and detecting the obstacle existing within an emission angle range of the beam for the direction; a distance calculation section (12) for calculating a distance representative of an interspace between the obstacle and the vehicle for each direction based on a received signal of the reflected wave for the direction outputted from the obstacle detection section; an obstacle image creation section (14) for creating, as an obstacle image, a figure two-dimensionally developed in the emission angle range of the beam emitted in each direction while treating, as a basis for image creation, the distance calculated by the distance calculation section for the direction, and for creating and outputting image data for displaying the obstacle image; and a display section (15) for receiving the image data created by the obstacle image creation section and displaying an image showing a positional relationship between the obstacle and the vehicle.
Abstract:
A heat spreader includes an electromagnetic soft iron sheet and a plating layer formed on the surface of the sheet. The plate is made of a rustproof metal. An electronic component is mounted on an aluminum base with an HITT substrate and the heat spreader in between. The heat spreader is manufactured at low cost and has a favorable property as a heat dissipating material.
Abstract:
A torsional damper mounted to a crank shaft of an internal combustion engine has a hub provided with a rim portion and a fixing portion, and a boss welded to the rim portion. A mass body is arranged in an outer side of the rim portion via a cylindrical elastic body. A seal element of an oil seal mounted to an engine assembly makes contact with an outer circumferential surface of the boss. The hub 11 has a carbon equivalent of 0.5% or less, and a boss has a carbon equivalent of 0.5% or less and a carbon content of 0.2% or more. Induction hardening is applied to a portion of the boss with which the oil element makes contact.
Abstract:
A conveyor device capable of moving a package also in a main direction orthogonal to a direction of conveyance, and thereby making it possible to change and maintain a package in any posture. The conveyor device 30 of the present invention is formed by coupling a plurality of conveyor sub-units 1 in an endless manner while each sub-unit 1 by itself has a function as a belt conveyor and the drive direction of the belt of the conveyor sub-unit 1 is in a direction orthogonal to the main direction of conveyance of the conveyor device 30. Some or all of the conveyor sub-units 1 constituting the conveyor device 30 can be made to operate in cooperation with each other by combining the conveyor device 30 with a control instruction device. The conveyor sub-unit 1 comprises a belt, a drive, means for the belt, a communication means for communicating with a control instruction device and other conveyor sub-units, a detecting means for detecting the position of a package on the belt, and control means for driving the belt forward or in reverse by using information from each of said means.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a printing apparatus that is capable of stable printing even when the number of printing elements driven simultaneously varies. The printing apparatus includes an input data processor for expanding compressed print data, which has been transmitted from a host device, and outputting a print code sequence; a heat-data generator for generating and outputting heat data, which corresponds to each heater, every heat cycle based upon the print code sequence, and simultaneously counting the number of dots of ink discharged at the same time and outputting a power supply selection signal; a multiple power supply circuit for outputting three different voltages; and a power supply selector which, in accordance with the selection signal [SL (1:0)], selects heater driving power from among the three different voltages and outputs the selected power to a printhead.
Abstract:
There are provided an ink jet printing apparatus, an image reading apparatus, an ink jet printing method and an image reading method capable of saving electric power, reducing noise and improving the reliability by specifying a timing of the adjustment of a paper gap. To achieve the object, in a printing mode for printing an image on a print medium, a function for adjusting a gap between a print head and a print medium is limited during the non-printing motion in which no ink is ejected from the print head. Also, in a reading mode for reading an image printed on a print medium, a function for adjusting a gap between a scanner and a print medium is limited during the non-reading motion in which the scanner does not read the image.
