Abstract:
A cigarette making apparatus includes a cooling-water passage which allows a coolant to circulate along a flavoring-material supply path which connects an application nozzle for applying a flavoring material to a wrapping-paper web and a pump for supplying the flavoring material to the application nozzle, to thereby cool the flavoring material. A cooling unit controls the temperature of the coolant supplied to the cooling-water passage. Specifically, the cooling unit controls the temperature of the flavoring material by selectively activating a first control system for detecting the temperature of the coolant supplied to the cooling-water passage and controlling the temperature of the coolant, and a second control system for detecting the temperature of the flavoring material supplied to the application nozzle and controlling the temperature of the coolant. Since the temperature of the flavoring material is controlled to fix the viscosity thereof, the amount per unit area of the flavoring material applied to the wrapping-paper web is fixed only by controlling the drive of the pump depending on the rate of supply of the wrapping-paper web.

Abstract:
A gradient liquid feed pump system capable of liquid feed in a correct mixing ratio even in the case of liquid feed in which the mixing ratio varies. Specifically, it comprises a first plunger pump for sucking and delivering an eluate, a second the first and second plunger pumps through a cam, a first pressure sensor for measuring the pressure in the flow path of the second plunger pump, a second pressure sensor for measuring the pressure in the fist plunger pump, a cam position detecting sensor for detecting the cam position, wherein when the cam position is in a delivery interval, the rotary speed of the motor is increased, and the period for decreasing the rotary speed is determined on the basis of the difference between the pressure values obtained from the first and second pressure sensors, respectively. Thereby, liquid feed can be smoothly effected with correct mixing ratio while avoiding pressure interference between pumps.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a hydraulic pump or hydraulic motor having a rotating shaft, which is mounted in a fixed position in a housing and on which a pulse generator is provided, and having a rotation speed sensor, which is fixed to the housing and comprises a sensor element associated with the pulse generator, the sensor element being fitted eccentrically and offset with respect to the insertion axis of the rotation speed sensor.
Abstract:
A variable capacity hydraulic machine has a rotating group located within a casing and a control housing secured to the casing to extend across and seal an opening in the casing. The control housing accommodates a control circuit and a pair of sensors to sense change in parameters associated with the rotating group. One of the sensors is positioned adjacent the barrel on the rotating group to sense rotational speed and the other senses displacement of the swashplate. The control housing accommodates a control valve and accumulator to supply fluid to the control valve.

The invention relates to a method for determining the piston stroke of a reciprocating piston machine having a variable stroke, for example a swashplate compressor, a pivoting plate compressor or a pivoting ring compressor, especially for air-conditioning installations in motor vehicles.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an axial piston engine (1) with a housing (2), inside the housing interior (4) of which a drive shaft (7) and a cylinder drum (16), arranged axially adjacent to said shaft, are rotatably mounted. The longitudinal mid-axes (9a, 9b) of the driveshaft (7) and the cylinder drum (17) run inclined to each other at an angle (W). Several piston bores (18) are arranged in he cylinder drum (16), running roughly parallel to the mid-axis thereof and in which pistons (21) may run axially up and down. The ends of said pistons, facing the driveshaft (7), are universally pivoted.
Abstract:
An improved control apparatus for a vehicle air conditioning system controls a variable displacement compressor. The discharge capacity of the compressor is changed by changing the difference between the pressure in the crank chamber and the suction pressure. The difference between the pressure in the crank chamber and the pressure of the suction chamber is maintained at a set value. A target value is determined based on the temperature of the passenger compartment. The target value is corrected based on the rotational speed of the engine driving the compressor, which is detected. The set value is determined by the corrected target value.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for pressure control of an adjustable pump for a hydraulic system including at least a load. Depending on the size of the system, i.e. the servo cylinder, hydrostatic machine and the line tubing, the fluid volume contained in the system between the adjustable pump and the low pressure side of the load is largely different. In controlling the load pressure in such a system, for example a press or a molding machine for plastic material, a pressure controller adaptively and automatically adjusts the damping factor of the controller and thus the controlling quality independent of the fluid volume of the system to a constant value. It is a benefit of the invention that all adjusting operations of the pressure controller are eliminated which have been necessary heretofore to obtain an appropriate control of the fluid system.
