The pressure regulator (500) comprises a housing (503), a fluid inlet (508) to receive a pressurized fluid at an inlet pressure, and a fluid outlet (510) to output the pressurized fluid at a regulated pressure. The pressure regulator (500) further includes a regulating piston (504) movable within the housing (503) to provide fluid communication between the fluid inlet (508) and the fluid outlet (510). The regulating piston (504) includes a first end (505) comprising a first cross-sectional width (D,) in fluid communication with the fluid inlet (508) and a second end (509) comprising a second cross-sectional width (D2) in fluid communication with the fluid outlet (510). The first and second cross-sectional widths (D15 D2) are sized such that the regulated pressure at the fluid outlet (510) is correlated to the inlet pressure at the fluid inlet (508).

Abstract: An improved apparatus and method for monitoring the levels of propane or other consumable liquid in remotely located storage tanks and coordinating delivery of liquid to those tanks, including an improved method of using the remote monitoring data to identify out-of-ordinary conditions at remote tanks, optimally schedule purchases or deliveries, improve safety, and more efficiently operate a propane dealership. More accurate and timely information concerning the status of customer tanks serves to improve operational efficiencies and increase safety. Data received from remote sensors can be collected and organized so that it is easily understood and utilized through the implementation of a user interface accessible via the Internet that allows the information to be presented in an efficient graphical and contextual fashion. Operational efficiencies can also be improved by calculating site-specific Degree-days and K-factors for each tank and by taking historical propane usage for each tank, weather conditions, and projected fuel usage into account.

Abstract: A demisable fuel supply system for a satellite includes a pressurized aluminum alloy tank with an aluminum alloy propellant management device therein. The propellant management device (PMD) can have any capillary action surface tension fluid transport features known in the art. Selected inner surfaces of the tank and the PMD are covered with a titanium based coating to guarantee propellant wettability and corrosion resistance of the fuel supply system.

Abstract: A gas cylinder has a circular-cylindrical shell which is closed on one end by a bung assembly having a connection hole extending along a longitudinal axis direction of the cylinder. The bung assembly has an auxiliary hole extending in a direction which is inclined with regard to a longitudinal axis direction of the cylinder. Abstract: A pressure container has an inner shell with a pair of fittings and a reinforcement layer formed around the inner shell, and is configured so that a reinforcement member is attachable to the pair of fittings in a process of forming the reinforcement layer and a functional component which performs a predetermined function is also attachable to the fittings. This can allow the reinforcement member to prevent expanding deformation of the pressure container in production of the pressure container, and can ensure effective use of openings after removal of the reinforcement member.
