    Abstract: An automotive connector includes an outer shell, an inner shell mated with the outer shell, and a conductive assembly assembled in the inner shell. The hooks of the outer shell can be detached from the slots of the inner shell, so that the outer shell can be detached from the inner shell. Therefore, another outer shell can be assembled with the inner shell, so that outer shells with different insertion openings can be assembled with the same inner shell conveniently. Therefore, the outer shell of the automotive connector can be replaced quickly.

    Abstract: A charging connector is provided. The charging connector includes a body having a first body end and a second body end. The charging connector also includes a cable connected to the first body end. The cable houses at least one conductor. The charging connector also includes at least one contact positioned at the second body end and electrically coupled to the at least one conductor. The charging connector also includes a mating interface connected to the second body end. The mating interface has a shroud and at least one contact dome that encloses the at least one contact. The at least one contact dome is at least partially formed of a first material having a first flammability resistance, and the shroud is at least partially formed of a second material having a second flammability resistance. The first flammability resistance is higher than the second flammability resistance.

    Abstract: An ejector for electric vehicle charging connectors is provided. An ejector can be configured to be secured on the inside of the charging port of an EV and to automatically eject or push the charging connector from the charging port. The ejector may include a pusher assembly that selectively extends through an opening in a housing forming the socket of the charging port. The ejector may also include a driver assembly that forces the pusher assembly through the opening to eject the charging connector while allowing the pusher assembly to be freely withdrawn when the charging connector is inserted.
