    Abstract: A method of detecting a percentage of ethanol in fuel used by an engine is provided. The method includes obtaining the heater temperature at a first time t1 at which a slope of the heater temperature as a function of time reaches a predetermined threshold value indicative of fuel boiling; obtaining the heater temperature at a subsequent time t2 at which the slope of the heater temperature approaches a value of the slope prior to the time t1 and which is greater than the predetermined threshold value; and determining the percentage of ethanol in the fuel as a function of the first time t1 and a calculated temperature difference ΔT between the heater temperature at time t2 and the heater temperature at the first time t1. A fuel delivery system that detects a percentage of ethanol in fuel by the method, and a flexible fuel vehicle including the fuel delivery system, are also provided.

    connecting a vehicle identification device, having at least one vehicle communication interface, on at least one OBD plug of an OBD line of a tested vehicle, the vehicle identification device being associated with a database of stored communication patterns corresponding to a list of models and/or platforms and/or brands of vehicles,
    listening to communication on OBD line to detect data frames emitted by or between systems of the tested vehicle on the communication line,
    extracting messages of the tested vehicle from the data frames,
    comparing the messages of the tested vehicle with stored messages within stored communication patterns in the database to identify messages of the vehicle corresponding to messages of the stored communication patterns and,

    Abstract: A terminal includes a spine extending along a longitudinal axis from a first end to a second end and extending along a lateral axis, which is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, from a first edge to a second edge. An attachment portion at the first end provides fixation to an electrical conductor. A contact portion extends from the second end and cantilevers over the spine such that the contact portion is spaced apart from the spine in a direction along a vertical axis which is perpendicular to both the longitudinal axis and the lateral axis. A locking tab extends from the first edge and has a locking tab attachment end which is fixed to first edge and which extends toward, and is aligned with, the contact portion in a direction parallel to the vertical axis. The locking tab also has a free end which flares outward beyond contact portion.

    Abstract: A fuel pump includes a pump housing with a pumping chamber an inlet valve bore. An inlet valve selectively provides and prevents fluid communication between an inlet of the fuel pump and the pumping chamber. The inlet valve includes an inner housing received within the inlet valve bore such that an outer periphery of the inner housing is sealed to an inner periphery of the inlet valve bore. An outer housing circumferentially surrounds the inner housing. An annular chamber is defined radially between the inner housing and the outer housing and axially between the outer housing and the pump housing. A sealing ring is located within the annular chamber such that the sealing ring is compressed axially against the pump housing and the outer housing.
