Abstract: An air compressor system having a refrigerated dryer and a form of a filter is used between a compressor of the air compressor system and the refrigerated dryer. The filter can include a conical shape such as frustoconical, and includes an outer retainer having a plurality of openings and an inner mesh filter. The retainer and mesh filter can be made out of metal. An end cap and a flange can close off both ends of the conical shape, and a handle can extend from a flange to aid in ease of handling. The components extending between the ends (i.e. between the end cap and flange) may only include the retainer and the mesh filter.

Abstract: The belt sander includes a gear casing coupled to a tool housing, the gear casing surrounding one or more gears configured to receive input from a motor to drive a shaft about a drive axis. The belt sander includes a belt arm assembly having a belt arm, the belt configured to translate in response to input from the shaft. The belt sander includes a plurality of incrementally spaced apart receivers on the gear casing and an engagement member in operational communication with the belt arm assembly, the engagement member being movable between a locked position and an unlocked position, wherein in the locked position the engagement member engages a receiver to fix the belt arm assembly incrementally relative to the gear casing, and wherein in the unlocked position the belt arm assembly freely rotates relative to the belt arm assembly to pivot the belt arm about the drive axis.

Abstract: An induction rotor assembly having an induction cage that is formed using a combination of liquid and solid materials. The first and second end plates of the induction cage may be fabricated before the casting of the conductors of the induction cage. According to certain embodiments, the first and second end plates may be assembled with first and second molds and a rotor core to form a casting assembly. A liquid casting material may be injected into the casting assembly, wherein the liquid casting material may solidify within one or more core passageways of the rotor core, thereby forming the conductors of the induction cage. The first and second end plates may also include flow channels that may be configured to facilitate the flow of the liquid casting material in the casting assembly, and increase the area of contact between the liquid casting material, when solidified, and the end plates.
