Abstract:
An elongated member for a shower door assembly includes a protrusion configured to be received within a channel of a header to slidably couple the elongated member to the header. The elongated member is configured to be slid within the channel between a first position to allow for a shower door to be installed onto, or removed from, the header and a second position to substantially impede upright movement of the shower door when the shower door is moved along the header.
Abstract:
A door suspension device includes a driving-side member, a hanger, an elastic member, pressed door rollers, and linking mechanisms. The driving-side member is displaceable in an opening/closing direction X when a drive force is imparted from an opening/closing drive mechanism. The hanger is displaced in conjunction with a displacement of the driving-side member and supports a door. The elastic member allows relative displacements of the driving-side member and the hanger by elastically deforming in accordance with a load that acts between the driving-side member and the hanger. The linking mechanisms convert a relative displacement operation of the driving-side member and the hanger into an operation in which the pressed door rollers are pressed against an upper rail.
Abstract:
A door suspension has a compact structure, in which first door rollers run in contact with a lower rail, and are rotatably supported to a first door roller supporting member that suspends a door; second door rollers are rotatably supported to swing members swingably connected to the first door roller supporting member, and are provided so as to be capable of coming into contact with an upper rail; a drive connection portion holds the door and connects the door to an open-close drive mechanism; and an elastic connection mechanism includes an elastic portion capable of changing the relative positions of the second door rollers and the drive connection portion, and connects the swing members to the drive connection portion. The second door rollers are installed between the first door rollers on the door leading end side and the door trailing end side.
