    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a receptacle housing and a receptacle. The receptacle housing comprises a housing body and a hole wall. The hole wall continuously extends from the housing body along an axial direction of the housing body. The hole wall surrounds along a circumferential direction of the housing body to form a mounting hole for accommodating a corresponding connecting terminal. The hole wall is provided with a water draining through-hole. By providing the water draining through-hole in the hole wall, the receptacle housing according to the present disclosure may drain water accumulated in the mounting hole in such a circumstance as water drops are brought therein upon plugging a mating connecting terminal, and provide water draining channels by means of such an ingenious structural design that safety performance may be enhanced.

    Abstract: An electrical connector assembly for airbag restraint systems comprising a first connector, comprising an elongated housing aligned along a longitudinal axis, a first connector's connection face facing perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, along a mating axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, said first connector comprising first locking means to lock the first connector to a second connector and second locking means that prevent the first locking means from releasing, the connector assembly further comprising the second connector, comprising a second connector's connection face surrounded at least partly by a shroud, facing along the mating axis towards the first connector's connection face. The shroud comprises third locking means that cooperate with the first locking means to lock the first connector to the second connector when mated along the mating axis. The extension of the mated connector assembly, along the mating axis, is smaller than the extension along the longitudinal axis and also smaller than the extension along a transverse axis arranged perpendicular to the longitudinal axis and the mating axis.

    Abstract: A plug-and-socket device includes a plug pin, and a contact sleeve having a cavity extending in a direction of an insertion axis for receiving the plug pin. The contact sleeve includes at least two contact fingers arranged in parallel relationship to one another around the cavity and configured to move elastically apart while expanding the cavity when the plug pin is inserted. At least one of the at least two contact fingers is formed on an inner side in facing relation to the cavity with at least one depression which lies in a contact surface on the inner side and defines with the contact surface an edge angle of less than approx. 100°. The contact surface represents on the inner side of the contact finger a surface which comes into contact with the plug pin, when the plug pin is inserted.

    Abstract: A seal member for an electrical connector comprises a housing seal portion, a shell seal portion, and a linkage portion integrally formed with the housing seal portion and the shell seal portion and connecting the housing seal portion and the shell seal portion.
