Abstract: A flexible gastight material for a landfill site includes a component A and a component B, the component A including: at least one of polypropylene glycol with a molecular weight of 600-4000, polytetrahydrofuran diol with a molecular weight of 1000-3000, polycaprolactone diol with a molecular weight of 1000-3000, and polycarbonate diol with a molecular weight of 1000-3000; and at least one of 2,4′-diphenylmethane diisocyanate, 4,4′-diphenylmethane diisocyanate, toluene diisocyanate, isophorone diisocyanate, and hexamethylene diisocyanate. The flexible gastight material for the landfill site provided in the present application has a micro-closed-cell foam structure. The closed-cell elastic structure of the flexible gastight material may block the volatilization of toxic and harmful odors, and may cut off the diffusion path of the odors by combining with gas treatment systems at the landfill site. The flexible gastight material has excellent water blocking and gas sealing performance.

Abstract: Provided is a composition or foam stabilizer which has sufficient quality and foam stability even when an inexpensive glycol ether compound is used as a raw material, and that has excellent foam-enhancing performance. The composition contains a specific polyether-polysiloxane block copolymer (A′) and a specific glycol ether compound (B′) at a mass ratio of (A′):(B′)=(20 to 60):(80 to 40) (wherein the total amount of (A′) and (B′) is 100. The composition further contains (K) a specific monovalent potassium salt in the range of 3 to 300 wt. ppm calculated as potassium atoms. A method for manufacturing the composition is also provided.

Abstract: Disclosed are a foaming agent composition for polyurethane including glycerol carbonate as a chemical foaming agent and a physical foaming agent or a chemical foaming agent in a predetermined ratio (physicochemical foaming agent), and polyurethane foam prepared using the same. The polyurethane foam has very low global warming potential and ozone depletion potential and simultaneously improved properties such as thermal conductivity, water absorption, flexural strength, and compressive strength that meet the standard for thermal insulation materials made of rigid urethane foam, and is effective at preventing internal shrinkage.

Abstract: The invention relates to a mixing device comprising at least one supply opening for at least one liquid and comprising at least one additional supply opening for at least one liquid curing or crosslinking agent. The liquid and/or the liquid curing or crosslinking agent is/are mixed with a gas. The mixing device also comprises a discharge opening for discharging a mixture, which can be produced in the mixing device, of the at least one liquid and the at least one liquid curing or crosslinking agent. A pressure holding device is provided for holding a specifiable pressure which is higher than the pressure at which the gas in the mixing device is foamed.
