Abstract: A connector includes a flexible connector having a first plurality of solder bumps arranged in a first pattern, and a base connector having a second plurality of solder bumps arranged in a second pattern concentric with and of a different size than the first pattern. A method of interconnecting a flexible connector to a base connector includes providing the flexible connector with a first plurality of solder bumps arranged in a first pattern, and providing the base connector with a second plurality of solder bumps arranged in a second pattern. The flexible and base connectors are aligned by aligning the first and second pluralities of solder bumps.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for employing a media read cache in a storage device. In certain embodiments, an, an apparatus may comprise a data storage drive including a volatile read cache, and a disc memory including a primary data storage region of the storage device configured for long-term storage of data via persistent logical block address to physical block address mapping, and a media read cache region configured to store a copy of data from the volatile read cache. The data storage drive may be configured to perform a read operation including: retrieve read data from the volatile read cache based on determining that the read data is available in the volatile read cache, and retrieve the read data from the media read cache based on determining that the read data is not available in the volatile read cache and is available in the media read cache.

Abstract: Improving performance in solid state devices (SSDs) by controlling or throttling an interval between requests. In one implementation, a method includes monitoring a request queue in a solid state device (an SSD), the request queue comprising a first request and a second request having an actual time interval therebetween, and responsive to the time interval being less than a target interval, delaying acting on the second request until after the target interval.

Abstract: Video analysis in a distributed video management system in which video data from a given camera is sent to at least two distributed camera nodes for simultaneous processing of video data by the distributed camera nodes. In some examples, the respective camera nodes may execute video analysis modules that each apply a different video analysis module to the video data. Video data may, by default, be provided to a first camera node. In turn, upon detection of a trigger, video data may be provided to a second camera node. The trigger may be periodic or, for example, in response to metadata generated by the first video analysis module of the first camera node. In turn, versatile and robust video analysis may be performed by the distributed video management system.

Abstract: Technology disclosed herein provides an object tracking multi-camera system including a plurality of cameras to capture images of one or more objects and one or more pattern recognition modules, each of the pattern recognition modules configured to identify an object in a video frame using pattern recognition and assigning a tracking number to the identified object, collect a plurality of object frames related to the identified object and associating the plurality of object frames to the assigned tracking number, compare a newly obtained object frame with the plurality of object frames related to the identified object to determine if the newly obtained object frame is related to the identified object, and in response to the comparison determine that facial recognition does not need to be performed on the newly obtained object frame.
