Abstract:
The device used to hold a separation element (6), in particular a glass panel, comprises a carriage (1) with a carriage body (11) and at least one wheel (124, 125) which rolls on a running surface (231) of a rail (2). The carriage (1) is releasably connected to a mounting element (3) which is connected to the separation element (6). The mounting element (3) which is mounted laterally on an upper edge (62) of the separation element (6) comprises a guide profile (30) provided with a first guide surface (333) which holds a lower and an upper flange element (114; 115) of the carriage body (11) inserted therein which can be displaced along the first guide surface (333) extending inclined by a first angle (a) relative to the upper edge (62) of the separation element (6) and can be locked in an appropriate position by means of locking elements (35, 92).
Abstract:
Exemplary embodiments of the invention include a door derailing prevention member having a body with a middle section and a circumferential surface. An installation stud is positioned at the middle section and a boss part is mounted to the body and is configured to mate with a hole and secure the body in a fixed position. The body has a radius that varies along the circumferential surface.
Abstract:
Overhead door assemblies having both interlocking and releasable guide assemblies, and multi-piece guide track assemblies for use with same are disclosed herein. An overhead door track configured in accordance with one embodiment of the invention includes a first side portion formed from a first piece of material and a second side portion formed from a second piece of material. The first side portion has a first guide surface and a first retention surface. The second side portion has a second guide surface and a second retention surface. In one aspect of this embodiment, the first side portion is joined to the second side portion to define an open channel or gap region therebetween. The first and second guide surfaces extend from the gap region toward a first direction, and the first and second retention surfaces diverge from the gap region toward a second direction, opposite to the first direction. The first and second retention surfaces can be configured to movably retain a door guide member.
Abstract:
Overhead door assemblies having both interlocking and releasable guide assemblies, and guide track assemblies for use with same are disclosed herein. An overhead door track configured in accordance with an embodiment of the invention includes a first side portion spaced apart from a second side portion to define a channel or gap region therebetween. The first side portion has a first guide surface and a first retention surface. Similarly, the second side portion has a second guide surface and a second retention surface. In this embodiment, the first and second guide surfaces diverge outwardly from the gap region in a first direction, and the first and second retention surfaces diverge inwardly from the gap region in a second direction, opposite the first direction. An overhead door configured in accordance with another embodiment of the invention can include a first guide member configured to extend through the gap region and movably engage the first and second retention surfaces, and a second guide member configured to be removably engaged with the first and second guide surfaces.
Abstract:
An overhead door track system has a roller stop integrally formed with a track member to prevent the rollers of an overhead door from moving off the track. A back hang angle is secured to the horizontal track member forward of the roller stop.
Abstract:
A sliding door system includes a sliding door having an upper roller assembly disposed atop a portion of the door's frame, a lower wheel assembly disposed at a bottom portion of the frame, a channeled upper track, a lower track having at least one convex longitudinal rail configured to receive the lower wheel assembly, and one or more optional panel divider strips. The lower wheel assembly includes a vertical spine having a transverse shaft coupled to a bottom portion thereof, a lower wheel that has a concave contact surface and is rotatably coupled to the transverse shaft, and a transverse latch member disposed vertically below the lower wheel to slidably latch the lower wheel assembly to the lower track as the lower wheel rotates matingly on the convex longitudinal rail.
Abstract:
The invention pertains to a hanger for guiding an element suspended from a rail so that the element can be moved back and forth. To create a hanger which forms a compact and visually attractive unit and which occupies the least possible amount of space without sacrificing the ability to serve various applications and to perform different functions, the hanger has an essentially flat, elongated shape with a middle section between two opposite end area, where the end areas are rounded.
Abstract:
A sliding closure system comprising a frame and at least one slidable leaf member. The frame has a frame upper member and a frame lower member each being formed with at least one longitudinal groove. A groove filling device comprising an elastic member and an elongate filling member is disposed in the longitudinal groove of the frame lower member. A lower member of the slidable leaf member includes a height control roller having a projection that is received in the longitudinal groove of the frame lower member for guiding the slidable leaf member longitudinally of the frame lower member.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a guide device for sliding doors (1) in furniture, particularly for heavy sliding glass doors. The guide device comprises a guide element which is constructed as a cylindrical bar (6) and at least two running rollers (3) which are fastened to the sliding door (1) by fastening elements (5). The bar (6) is fastened to the furniture body (2) by holding elements (7, 17). The running rollers (3) have a running surface (4) such that the running surface (4) rests completely on the bar (6) at the point of contact between the running surface (4) and the bar (6).
Abstract:
A housing for an automatic door operator comprising a header section, a closing section and a terminal section. The header section includes two legs and a connecting leg which connects the two legs to one another. One of the two legs includes an end portion having a projection with a circular cross-section and an undercut. The closing section includes another projection with a circular cross-section and an indentation at one end and the terminal section at the other end. The closing section is removably attached to the header section through the engagement of the projection of the closing section with the undercut and the engagement of the projection of the one of the two legs and the indentation. The housing serves to house mechanical and electrotechnical components for the automatic the door operator.
