    Abstract: A micro fluid actuator includes an orifice layer, a flow channel layer, a substrate, a chamber layer, a vibration layer, a lower electrode layer, a piezoelectric actuation layer and an upper electrode layer, which are stacked sequentially. An outflow aperture, a plurality of first inflow apertures and a second inflow aperture are formed in the substrate by an etching process. A storage chamber is formed in the chamber layer by the etching process. An outflow opening and an inflow opening are formed in the orifice layer by the etching process. An outflow channel, an inflow channel and a plurality of columnar structures are formed in the flow channel layer by a lithography process. By providing driving power which have different phases to the upper electrode layer and the lower electrode layer, the vibration layer is driven to displace in a reciprocating manner, so as to achieve fluid transportation.

    Abstract: A health monitoring device is provided. The health monitoring device includes a wearable component, an optical monitoring module and an air-bag positioning assembly. The wearable component is worn on a body part of a subject and is contacted with a skin tissue. The optical monitoring module is disposed inside the wearable component and includes a driving controller, an optical sensor and at least one light-emitting element. A light source emitted by the light-emitting element irradiates on the skin tissue. The optical sensor receives a reflection light and generates a sensing signal accordingly. The driving controller converts the sensing signal into health data information and outputs the health data information. By the air-bag positioning assembly, the wearable component is securely worn on the body part of the subject, and the optical sensor is attached on the skin tissue of the subject for accurately monitoring the health data information.

    Abstract: A pair of glasses with a wearing cushion device includes a main body, at least one inflatable cushion, an air pump, a switch element, a control unit and an air channel. The at least one inflatable cushion is disposed on a surface of at least one temple of the main body. The air pump is in communication with the at least one inflatable cushion. The control unit is electrically connected with the switch element and the air pump. The air channel is embedded within the main body and in communication with the at least one inflatable cushion and the air pump. When the switch element is turned on, the control unit enables the air pump to make ambient gas transferred to the at least one inflatable cushion through the air channel. Consequently, the at least one inflatable cushion is inflated with the gas and expanded to fit user's ears.

    Abstract: A miniature fluid control device includes a piezoelectric actuator and a housing. The piezoelectric actuator comprises a suspension plate, an outer frame, at least one bracket and a piezoelectric ceramic plate. The piezoelectric ceramic plate is attached on a first surface of the suspension plate and has a length not larger than that of the suspension plate. The housing includes a gas collecting plate and a base. The gas collecting plate is a frame body with a sidewall and comprises a plurality of perforations. The base seals a bottom of the piezoelectric actuator and has a central aperture corresponding to the middle portion of the suspension plate. When the voltage is applied to the piezoelectric actuator, the suspension plate is permitted to undergo the curvy vibration, the fluid is transferred from the central aperture of the base to the gas-collecting chamber, and exited from the perforations.

    Abstract: A gas detecting device includes a main body, a gas sensing module, a particulate measuring module and a control module. A chamber is formed within the main body. The main body has a first inlet, a second inlet and an outlet in fluid communication with the chamber. The gas sensing module includes a compartment body, a carrying plate, a sensor and an actuator. The actuator introduces ambient gas into the gas sensing module through the first inlet, and the gas is measured by the sensor and discharged from the outlet of the compartment body. The particulate measuring module is disposed within the chamber of the main body and includes an inlet channel, an outlet channel and a particulate detector. The gas is introduced into the particulate measuring module through the inlet channel, and a concentration of particulates in the gas is measured by the particulate detector.

    Abstract: An air-cooling heat dissipation device is provided for removing heat from an electronic component. The air-cooling heat dissipation device includes a supporting substrate, an air pump and a heat sink. The supporting substrate includes a top surface, a bottom surface, an introduction opening and a thermal conduction plate. The thermal conduction plate is located over the top surface of the supporting substrate and aligned with the introduction opening. The electronic component is disposed on the thermal conduction plate. The air pump is fixed on the bottom surface of the supporting substrate and aligned with the introduction opening. The heat sink is attached on the electronic component. When the air pump is enabled, an ambient air is introduced into the introduction opening to remove the heat from the thermal conduction plate.

    Abstract: A miniature pneumatic device includes a miniature fluid control device and a miniature valve device. The miniature fluid control device includes a gas inlet plate, a resonance plate, a piezoelectric actuator and a gas collecting plate. A first chamber is formed between the resonance plate and the piezoelectric actuator. After a gas is fed into the gas inlet plate, the gas is transferred to the first chamber through the resonance plate and then transferred downwardly. Consequently, a pressure gradient is generated to continuously push the gas. The miniature valve device includes a valve plate and a gas outlet plate. After the gas is transferred from the miniature fluid control device to the miniature valve device, the valve opening of the valve plate is correspondingly opened or closed and the gas is transferred in one direction. Consequently, a pressure-collecting operation or a pressure-releasing operation is selectively performed.
