    Abstract: The presently disclosed method and system exploits information and traces contained in DNS data to determine the maliciousness of a domain based on the relationship it has with other domains. A method may comprise providing data to a machine learning module that was previously trained on domain and IP address attributes or classifiers. The method then may comprise classifying apex domains and IP addresses based on the IP address and domain attributes or classifiers. Additionally, the method may comprise associated each of the domains and IP addresses based on the corresponding classification. The method may further comprise building a weighted domain graph at real-time utilizing the DNS data based on the aforementioned associations among domains. The method may then comprise assessing the maliciousness of a domain based on the weighted domain graph that was built.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a new and innovative system, method, and non-transitory computer-readable medium for securely recovering access to an online service account. Secret splitting is utilized to require multiple recovery mechanisms in order to recover access to an online service account, thus decreasing the likelihood that a malicious attacker will compromise all of the recovery mechanisms to gain access to the online service account. The secret is split into a quantity of tokens via a secret sharing function that can reconstruct the secret with a predetermined threshold quantity of the tokens. The level of security provided by the system is flexible by adjusting the quantity of recovery mechanisms and the predetermined threshold quantity of tokens required to reconstruct the secret.

    Abstract: The lithium-sulfur rechargeable battery (10) includes a negative electrode (14) formed from a composite of sulfurized polyacrylonitrile (SPAN), carbon black and carbon nanofibers coated on an aluminum substrate.     Abstract: The heat index thermostat is an electronic, programmable thermostat having a microcontroller or microprocessor programmed to regulate the temperature of an enclosed space, such as a room or building. The thermostat has a user interface that permits the user to select a mode of operation and to enter a set temperature, and input terminals for receiving signals from relative humidity, indoor temperature, and other sensors. In a heat index mode of operation, the temperature is regulated by reference to a lookup table based on a heat index equation. The microcontroller uses the table inversely by using the set temperature as the heat index temperature, looking up the room temperature that would result in that heat index temperature given the measured relative humidity in the room. The thermostat then turns the cooling/heating unit on or off until the measured room temperature is equal to the temperature determined from the lookup table.

    Abstract: The method and apparatus for angle of arrival estimation are used for estimating the angle of arrival of a received signal by a switched beam antenna array and a single receiver. The switched beam antenna array first collects an omnidirectional signal to be used as a reference signal. A main beam thereof is then switched to scan an angular region of interest. The collected signals from the switched beams are cross-correlated with the reference signal. The cross-correlation coefficient is the highest at the true angle of arrival and relatively negligible otherwise. The collected signal from each beam angle is cross-correlated with the omnidirectional reference signal to determine the angle of arrival of the received signal.
