Abstract: A quick coupling set includes a socket and a mating plug. The socket has a rotation-restraining structure while the mating plug has a mating rotation-restraining structure. In the coupling of the socket and the mating plug, the rotation-restraining structure of the socket only allow the rotation-restraining structure of the mating plug to relatively rotate in a rotation direction, so as to complete the coupling of the socket and the mating plug. Other plugs which do not match the socket lack of a rotation-restraining structure matching that of the socket, and cannot relatively rotate in the rotation direction with respect to the socket and cannot achieve any coupling with the socket, which results in the socket and the mating plug being protected against misconnection.

Abstract: An improved quick connector is provided. The quick connector includes an assembly check that is partially received within an input end of a connector body. The assembly check includes a pull tab and a shielding portion. Upon insertion of a male connector within the input end of the connector body, assembly check retracts from the input end of the connector body and can be manually removed via the pull tab. Once removed from the connector body, a machine readable verification indicia can be read. The verification indicia is visible on an underside of the shielding portion or visible on the connector body once the shielding portion is removed.

Abstract: A pipe connector having a body with a tubular part to seal with a pipe. The tubular part has an outer face with a projecting feature to seal with the pipe. A collet is fixed to the body and spaced from the tubular part to form a cavity for the pipe. A locking cap is captive on and screwed onto collet to deflect the collet onto the pipe and the pipe onto the tubular part to seal between the body and the pipe. The collet has through slots at its distal end allowing the pipe to be visible when the connector is locked and unlocked. The inner diameter at an open end of the collet is optionally greater than the inner diameter of the distal part that receives the pipe. A method of forming the connector is also disclosed.
