Abstract:
This display includes a first display portion and a second display portion, a first signal line supplying a signal output from a driver circuit to the first display portion while partially serving also as a signal line for supplying another signal output from the driver circuit to the second display portion, a first switching circuit switching the signal supplied through the first signal line by time sharing and a second signal line for supplying the signal to the second display portion.
Abstract:
An image pickup apparatus is disclosed which provides an appropriate inclination guide display in accordance with an aspect ratio of a picked-up image and the like. The image pickup apparatus includes an inclination detector which detects an inclination of the image pickup apparatus, a display device capable of superimposedly showing an inclination guide display corresponding to a detection output from the inclination detector, on a picked-up image, and an aspect ratio setter which sets the aspect ratio of a picked-up image. The apparatus includes a display controller which controls whether or not to show the inclination guide display on the display device on the basis of the aspect ratio set by the aspect ratio setter.

Abstract:
Provided is a vehicular roof structure, which can adjust the quantity of daylighting and which can be set to give a sense of spaciousness to a passenger in the rear seat by the wide field of view from the vehicular upper side while blocking the incident light upon the front seat side. Three louvers are enabled to change their angles of inclination with respect to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. If the individual louvers arranged at the blocking positions are oriented to slope in a slightly downward direction of the vehicle toward the rear side thereof, a passenger in a rear seat can see, while an incident light to the front seat side is being blocked by the three louvers, the outside of the upper side of the vehicle through the three inclined louvers.
Abstract:
To provide a protective cover capable of enhancing convenience in connecting and disconnecting an external output line and the like without impairing safety. In a protective cover placed on a side wall of a casing and covering a hollow part in which an output part of an apparatus housed in the casing is provided, the cover is characterized by including an outer lid which is supported by a hinge provided at an upper end to be openable and closable, and is provided, at a part close to a lower end, with a first locking member engaging with a catching member that is provided at a lower part of the hollow part, and an internal lid which is rotatably mounted to a position corresponding to the output part in an inner surface of the aforesaid outer lid to cover the output part. The internal lid is supported by a hinge.
Abstract:
This invention provides a clock switching circuit that can switch clocks without causing a hazard or a distortion of a duty ratio of the clocks. The clock switching circuit of this invention includes a first synchronization circuit that synchronizes a clock selection signal with a first clock, a second synchronization circuit that synchronizes with a second clock the clock selection signal that has been synchronized with the first clock by the first synchronization circuit and a clock selection circuit that outputs “1”, that is a high level, in synchronization with the clock selection signal that has been synchronized with the first clock by the first synchronization circuit and after that selects the second clock in synchronization with the clock selection signal that has been synchronized with the second clock by the second synchronization circuit.
Abstract:
The upper limit VH of the driving voltage PVdd is set in such way that the brightness of an organic EL element is lower than the first standard brightness L1 when the video signal Dm is at the black signal level (V0), in an EL display device with the driving source for driving the organic EL element. Also, the lower limit VL of the driving voltage PVdd is set in such way the brightness of the organic EL element is higher than the second standard brightness L2 when the video signal Dm is at the white signal level (V1). The electroluminescent display device displays black and white with a proper contrast.
Abstract:
In an organic EL display device, a power loss of a driver transistor is suppressed and heating and power consumption of the display device is reduced. A plurality of R pixels is provided with a first power supply circuit, a plurality of G pixels is provided with a second power supply circuit and a plurality of B pixels is provided with a third power supply circuit. The first power supply circuit generates a voltage PVDD-R and a voltage CV-R. The second power supply circuit generates a voltage PVDD-G and a voltage CV-G. Also the third power supply circuit generates a voltage PVDD-B and a voltage CV-B. Each of the voltages generated by the power supply circuits is independently controlled by a micro processing unit in order for the white balance adjustment.
Abstract:
A correction variable is calculated based on vibration data of an image sensing apparatus. Based on the calculation result, timing of reading image signals from an image sensing device is controlled. The read image signals are delayed by predetermined time, the read image signals and the delayed image signals are added at a predetermined addition ratio based on the calculation result of the correction variable calculator. In still image sensing, the above addition operation is not performed.
Abstract:
A moving image pickup apparatus which is capable of attaining both enhanced focusing accuracy and increased chances of snapshooting. A predetermined time period is determined according to a designated image pickup period. Responsive to designation of still image recording, an automatic focus adjusting device starts automatic focus adjustment. When an in-focus state is obtained by the automatic focus adjusting device within the determined predetermined time period, a still image for which the in-focus state has been obtained is stored in a memory device. On the other hand, when the in-focus state is not obtained even after the lapse of the determined predetermined time period, a still image for which the in-focus state has not been obtained is stored in the memory device.
