Abstract:
Method for preventing security breaches via the two-thief method of attack of passive remote keyless entry systems for vehicles. The method involves the transmission of a signal between a fob and the vehicle, where the level of the signal changes in a particular pattern. At the receiving side, anomalies in the pattern of the received signal (e.g., levels, timing) are detected and used to detect attempts to mimic the signal.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for incorporating a third user into an instant message (IM) session. In one embodiment, an IM server receives a first IM from a first user directed toward a second user. The IM server makes a determination that the second user is not available to respond to the first IM. In response to the determination, the IM server identifies a third user to whom the first IM is to be forwarded, and automatically forwards the first IM to the third user. In another embodiment, the IM server receives a transfer request from the second user to transfer the IM session from the second user to the third user. The IM server automatically determines a subset portion of a plurality of IMs communicated between the first user and the second user, and provides the transfer request and the subset portion to the third user.
Abstract:
An illumination system is provided, including a light emitting device and a control device, wherein the control device is coupled to the light emitting device so as to capture a situation data in a remote end and generate a situation signal correspondingly. The light emitting device receives the situation signal and generates a simulating situation.
Abstract:
A multi-folded full-automatic opening-closing umbrella comprises a frame, cloth, a middle rod set, an upper nest, a lower nest, a handle, an umbrella opening/closing transformation ratio mechanism disposed in the middle rod set, and an umbrella opening/closing driving mechanism disposed in the handle and the middle rod set. The umbrella opening/closing driving mechanism drives the middle sleeve of the middle rod set to move up and down relative to the inner sleeve, and linkage opening/closing functions of the sleeves of the middle rod set and the cloth are realized at the same time.
Abstract:
A memory array includes a rhomboid-shaped AA region surrounded by a first and second STI structures. The first STI structure extends along a first direction on the longer sides of the rhomboid-shaped AA region and has a depth d1. The second STI structure extends along the second direction on the shorter sides of the rhomboid-shaped AA region and has two depths: d2 and d3, wherein d1 and d2 are shallower than d3.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to methods and systems for searching software applications, including mobile applications (apps) and web apps/extensions/plug-ins (applications). The method comprises the steps of executing at least one app or application, collection application data from the app or application, storing the collected application data, receiving a query, searching the stored application data, and transmitting information regarding apps or applications whose corresponding stored application is relevant to the query.
Abstract:
System for inspecting defects of panel device includes a to-be-inspected device, a platform for holding the to-be-inspected device, a power unit, and a light source apparatus. The light source apparatus is controlled by the power unit to provide an inspection light to the to-be-inspected device for inspecting whether or not having defects. The light source apparatus includes a cathode structure, an anode structure, a fluorescent layer, and a low-pressure gas layer. The fluorescent layer is located between the cathode structure and the anode structure. The low-pressure gas layer is filled between the cathode structure and the anode structure, for inducing the cathode to emit electrons uniformly. The low-pressure gas layer has an electron mean free path, allowing at least enough electrons to directly hit the fluorescent layer under an operating voltage.
Abstract:
A package comprises a die stack having at least two stacked dies coupled for contactless communications with each other. At least one of the stacked dies has a substrate joined to its major face. The substrate has a plurality of conductive traces in or on the substrate for conducting power to the dies and for conducting heat from the dies. At least one conductive pillar is joined to at least one of the conductive traces on at least a first edge of the substrate, for conducting power to the at least one die and for conducting heat from the at least one die.
Abstract:
An exemplary heat dissipation fan includes a rotor and a stator. The stator includes a stator core. The rotor is rotatably mounted around the stator. The rotor includes a hub and a magnet ring received in the hub. The hub includes a top wall and a peripheral side wall depending from the top wall. The magnet ring is attached to the side wall and surrounding the stator. The magnet ring has a larger thickness as measured in a radial direction at a first end which is far away from the top wall than a second end which is adjacent to top wall, such that an attracting force formed between the first end of the magnet ring and the stator core is larger than that formed between the second end of the magnet ring and the stator core.
Abstract:
A control method controlling a display panel comprising a pixel unit. The pixel unit is coupled to a data line and comprises a capacitor, a transistor, and a luminiferous device. The capacitor comprises a first terminal coupled to the data line and a second terminal coupled to the transistor. The voltage of the first terminal is increased and the voltage of the second terminal is reduced during a first period. The voltage of the first and the second terminals are controlled during a second period subsequent to the first period. The luminiferous device is lit according to the voltage of the capacitor during a third period subsequent to the second period. The voltage of the data line is maintained during the third period.
