    Abstract: An electrical assembly includes an electrical connector mounted upon a PCB and receiving a CPU therein, and a liquid Nitrogen heat dissipation device is mounted upon the PCB and intimately seated upon the CPU to remove the heat therefrom. The liquid Nitrogen heat dissipation device includes a case forming a chamber to receive the liquid Nitrogen therein. A plurality of fixing arms extend outwardly and radially to fix the liquid Nitrogent heat dissipation device in position. A fixing seat is attached upon the PCB to precisely located the CPU in position with regard to the electrical connector.

    Abstract: An electrical card connector includes an insulative housing, a plurality of contacts retained to the housing, a metallic shield attached to the housing and cooperating with the housing to form a receiving cavity for receiving therein an electrical card, and a card holding mechanism located beside the receiving cavity. The card holding mechanism includes a slider, a spring abutting against the slider and deformable in the front-to-back direction, and a resilient locking device. The locking device includes a securing part retained to the slider, a resilient arm extending from the securing part with a locking protrusion for engagement within a locking notch of the electrical card. The slider provides an abutment face. The free end of the locking arm is adapted to abut against the abutment face when the electrical card is inserted into or withdrawn from the receiving cavity to outwardly deflect the resilient arm.

    Abstract: An electrical connector assembly includes an electrical connector and a protective cap assemble thereon. The electrical connector includes an insulative housing forming receiving cavity, and a plurality of contacts disposed in the housing and extending into the receiving cavity. The protective cap includes a planar body, a first latching section linked with the planar body, and an operation section extending above the planar body. A securing seat surrounds the housing and includes a second latching section engaged with the first latching section. By applying fingers upon the operation section to rotate/twist the cap, the first latching section and the second latching section is disengaged from each other, and the cap can be easily upwardly withdrawn from the securing seat.

    Abstract: An electrical connector assembly for connecting the CPU and the printed circuit board, includes an electrical connector and a back plate respectively mounted upon two opposite surfaces of the printed circuit board. A fastening seat partially surrounds the connector for securing a heat sink which is downwardly seated upon the CPU for heat dissipation. The back plate forms a plurality of securing studs extending through the fastening seat. The heat sink further includes a plurality of tubular securing nuts respectively surrounded by the corresponding coil springs and secured to the corresponding securing studs in an adjustable manner so as to impose the downward force upon the heat sink to urge the heat sink to abut downwardly against the CPU for heat dissipation of the CPU.

    Abstract: A securing mechanism for retaining a CPU to an electrical connector mounted upon a top surface of the PCB, includes a fastening device mounted upon the top surface of the PCB beside the electrical connector, and a back plate mounted upon the undersurface of the PCB and located between the PCB and a metallic case. The fastening device cooperates with the back plate to be secured to the PCB via a first set of fixing units. The case forms an opening/recessed region to receive a thickened central region of the back plate and is secured to the back plate via a second set of fixing units surrounding said opening. The thickened central region is fully received within the opening in the vertical direction. The first set of fixing units are located in the central region of the back plate.
