Abstract: A pressing member is used for downwardly pressing on a chip module. The pressing member has a main body and a central opening going through the main body. The main body has an upper surface and a lower surface opposite to the upper surface. The central opening is provided for a part portion of the chip module going through. The pressing member has a pressing portion protrudes upwardly from the upper surface and provided for an external device pressing downwardly on to make the main body press downwardly on the chip module so as to prevent the chip module from warping.

Abstract: An electrical assembly includes an electrical connector mounted upon a PCB and receiving a CPU therein, and a liquid Nitrogen heat dissipation device is mounted upon the PCB and intimately seated upon the CPU to remove the heat therefrom. The liquid Nitrogen heat dissipation device includes a case forming a chamber to receive the liquid Nitrogen therein. A plurality of fixing arms extend outwardly and radially to fix the liquid Nitrogent heat dissipation device in position. A fixing seat is attached upon the PCB to precisely located the CPU in position with regard to the electrical connector.

Abstract: An electrical card connector includes an insulative housing, a plurality of contacts retained to the housing, a metallic shield attached to the housing and cooperating with the housing to form a receiving cavity for receiving therein an electrical card, and a card holding mechanism located beside the receiving cavity. The card holding mechanism includes a slider, a spring abutting against the slider and deformable in the front-to-back direction, and a resilient locking device. The locking device includes a securing part retained to the slider, a resilient arm extending from the securing part with a locking protrusion for engagement within a locking notch of the electrical card. The slider provides an abutment face. The free end of the locking arm is adapted to abut against the abutment face when the electrical card is inserted into or withdrawn from the receiving cavity to outwardly deflect the resilient arm.

Abstract: The electrical connector is equipped with a retention mechanism for securing mounting a heat sink upon a CPU which is received within an insulative housing of the connector. The retention mechanism includes a pair of seats, a pair of towers fixed to the pair of seats, respectively, a pressing device retained between the pair of towers in a deformable manner. The pressing device is intimately seated upon the heat sink to significantly press the heat sink against the CPU when the pressing device is deformed in a tensional status.

Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulative base, an insulative cover attached upon the base and moveable along a front-to-back direction, and an operation lever sandwiched between the base and the cover for moving the cover relative to the base in the front-to-back direction. The lever includes an actuating bar sandwiched between the upper head and the lower head, and an operation bar exposed outside of the base and the cover. The operation bar is rotatable between a horizontal position and a vertical position. The lower head includes a stopper around a front end of the operation bar with a locking section engaged with the operation bar wherein said locking section extends toward the operation bar either inwardly along the transverse direction or in the front-to-back direction.

Abstract: An electrical connector assembly includes an electrical connector and a protective cap assemble thereon. The electrical connector includes an insulative housing forming receiving cavity, and a plurality of contacts disposed in the housing and extending into the receiving cavity. The protective cap includes a planar body, a first latching section linked with the planar body, and an operation section extending above the planar body. A securing seat surrounds the housing and includes a second latching section engaged with the first latching section. By applying fingers upon the operation section to rotate/twist the cap, the first latching section and the second latching section is disengaged from each other, and the cap can be easily upwardly withdrawn from the securing seat.

Abstract: An electrical connector assembly for connecting the CPU and the printed circuit board, includes an electrical connector and a back plate respectively mounted upon two opposite surfaces of the printed circuit board. A fastening seat partially surrounds the connector for securing a heat sink which is downwardly seated upon the CPU for heat dissipation. The back plate forms a plurality of securing studs extending through the fastening seat. Abstract: A securing mechanism for retaining a CPU to an electrical connector mounted upon a top surface of the PCB, includes a fastening device mounted upon the top surface of the PCB beside the electrical connector, and a back plate mounted upon the undersurface of the PCB and located between the PCB and a metallic case. The fastening device cooperates with the back plate to be secured to the PCB via a first set of fixing units. The case forms an opening/recessed region to receive a thickened central region of the back plate and is secured to the back plate via a second set of fixing units surrounding said opening. The thickened central region is fully received within the opening in the vertical direction. The first set of fixing units are located in the central region of the back plate.
