Abstract:
A management apparatus includes a processor that identifies a predicted time point of starting scaling-out in an information processing apparatus in which at least one virtual machine operates, based on history data of auto-scaling executed by the information processing apparatus. The processor identifies a required time of deployment executed by the information processing apparatus based on data of a past start time and a past end time of the deployment. The deployment is a process of preparing a virtual machine in the information processing apparatus. The processor determines a next start time of starting the deployment by the information processing apparatus based on the identified predicted time and the identified required time. The processor transmits at the next start time, to the information processing apparatus, a first request for starting the deployment by the information processing apparatus.
Abstract:
An information processing system includes a communication control device that receives an input of first process communication from a first information processing device and controls internal and external communication with a second information processing device, and a responding device that can communicate with the communication control device, wherein upon receiving the first process communication, the communication control device transmits the received first process communication to the second information processing device, and upon receiving second process communication, which is a response to the first process communication transmitted from the second information processing device to the first information processing device, the communication control device transmits the second process communication to the responding device by changing a destination of the second process communication from the first information processing device to the responding device.
Abstract:
In installing a new virtual machine on one of physical machines, a calculating unit selects an existing virtual machine amongst a plurality of existing virtual machines already deployed on the physical machines based on information about a use form of the new virtual machine and information about a use form of each of the existing virtual machines. The calculating unit predicts a workload on each of the physical machines using history information indicating past workload status of the selected existing virtual machine, and determines an installation-target physical machine for the new virtual machine based on the prediction results.
Abstract:
A management apparatus deploys, when loads of one or more first virtual machines deployed on a first system satisfy a first load condition, one or more second virtual machines on a second system, and distributes processing of a business operation across the first and second virtual machines. The management apparatus allows a different second virtual machine to be added to the second system when, after the second virtual machines are deployed, the loads of the first virtual machines satisfy the first load condition and loads of the second virtual machines satisfy a second load condition. The management apparatus restricts the addition of the different second virtual machine to the second system when, after the second virtual machines are deployed, the loads of the first virtual machines satisfy the first load condition but the loads of the second virtual machines do not satisfy the second load condition.
