Abstract: A removable electronics device and related pre-fabricated sensor assemblies having different sensor layouts are provided. The removable electronics module includes one or more processors, an inertial measurement unit, a first communication interface configured to communicatively couple the removable electronics device to one or more computing devices, a second communication interface configured to communicatively couple the removable electronics device to a plurality of pre-fabricated sensor assemblies, and a housing at least partially enclosing the processor, the inertial measurement unit, the first communication interface, and the second communication interface. The housing includes a first opening in at least one longitudinal surface and adjacent to at least a portion of the first communication interface and a plurality of second openings in a lower surface and adjacent to the plurality of contact pads of the second communication interface.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes detecting, at a wearable computing device, a first direction of a first stare, wherein the wearable computing device includes a head-mountable display unit, identifying a target based on the detected first direction, and based on a determination that a first time duration of the first stare is greater than or equal to a first predetermined time threshold, identifying information relevant to the target and displaying the identified information on the display unit. Subsequent to displaying the identified information, the method includes detecting a second stare that is directed at the target or at the displayed information, and based on a determination that a second time duration of the second stare is greater than or equal to a second predetermined time threshold, identifying additional information relevant to the target, and displaying the additional information on the display unit.

Abstract: This document describes techniques and apparatuses directed at device communications using a human transmission channel. In aspects, a computing device having an ultrasonic sensor is configured to receive ultrasonic signals transmitted through a physical medium associated with a user and convert the ultrasonic signal into a first electrical signal. Upon generating the first electrical signal, the computing device can execute commands included in the first electrical signal and/or transmit the commands to a network and devices wirelessly connected thereto. In so doing, the number of smart features can be reduced, and communications between computing devices can be employed using a human transmission channel without a pairing event.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods that generate a scrubbing video that depicts a scrubbing operation performed on a first video. In particular, a user can directly manipulate video playback of the first video (e.g., by interacting with a touch-sensitive display screen) and the scrubbing video can depict such manipulation. As one example, the user can “scratch” his or her videos like a disc jockey (DJ) scratches records to produce scrubbing videos that are remixes (e.g., looping remixes) of his or her original videos. Thus, the systems and methods of the present disclosure enable a user to capture and edit a new type of video that allows the user to directly manipulate its timeline, producing fun and creative results.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to facilitating the pairing of a visitor interactive object. An example method includes receiving, by a first interactive object from one or more sensors, data indicative of a visitor interactive object identifier associated with the visitor interactive object. The method includes generating, by the first interactive object, a pairing communication for the visitor interactive object that includes the visitor interactive object identifier and instructions to pair with the visitor interactive object. The method includes communicating, by the first interactive object, the pairing communication to a central computing device. The central computing device can be temporarily paired with the visitor interactive object based on the pairing communication. For instance, the method can include receiving, by the central computing device, the visitor pairing communication, generating a temporary visitor profile based on the visitor interactive identifier, and establishing the temporary wireless connection with the visitor interactive object.
