Abstract:
A radiator grill is provided with a snap-in plug for engagement into a contoured aperture provided in a bumper. The grill is retained at the rearward end of the bumper by means of retaining hooks. The grill is also provided at its rearward portion with slip ramps which are positioned on the upper side of the bumper so as to cause forward pivoting of the grill that eliminates a gap that may otherwise be created between the grill and the bumper at the forward edge of the grill.
Abstract:
A safety ski binding part includes a base plate having a roller supported thereon for rotation about a generally longitudinally extending axis, and a sole holder supported on the base plate for pivotal movement around a vertical axis and a transverse horizontal axis, the sole holder having a shoulder thereon. A lever supported on the base plate for pivotal movement about a transverse axis has a nose engageable with the shoulder and a transversely extending cam surface engageable with the roller. A release spring biases the lever in a direction urging the nose into engagement with the shoulder and urging the cam into engagement with the roller.
Abstract:
An apparatus for facilitating an adjusting of the position of a front and/or rear jaw of a ski binding. The apparatus has a guide rail which is adapted to be secured on the upper surface of a ski with the jaw being movable along the guide rail. One of the guide rail and the jaw is provided with a toothed bar which extends perpendicularly with respect to the upper surface of the ski. The other of the guide rail and the jaw has a tooth detent arranged movably in a transverse direction of the ski. A spring is provided for biasing the tooth detent into engagement with the toothed bar. The tooth detent is provided at the end of a single lever pivotally supported on an axle which extends in longitudinal direction of the ski on the side surface of the housing of the jaw, which side surface is adjacent the toothed bar of the guide rail.
Abstract:
A device for conditioning recirculating air in a cleanroom has at least one fan having a housing. A return air conduit is provided through which a first portion of recirculating air is supplied from the cleanroom to the at least one fan. A second portion of the recirculating air is directly supplied to the at least one fan by bypassing the at least one return air conduit.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to the arrangement of a stator and a spare stator. In order to avoid a permanent correction in the length of the driving shaft, the spare stator is connected to the instantaneously operated stator or is configured in a single piece. Upon occurrence of a defined amount of wear, this stator combination is merely reversed through 180° relative to the longitudinal axis or an intermediate tube is inserted so that the spare stator arrives in the rotor region.

Abstract:
A method and apparatus for making a plurality of integral support plates for chairs, involving passing a strip of metallic material along a forming line and carrying our a series of operations on the strip, including: piercing and lancing holes, removing material adjacent the holes to permit use of a strip carrier, and cutting notches in opposed longitudinal sides at a first stage; then lancing the strip along two substantially transverse lines extending inwardly to the lancing holes; then carrying out a plurality of sequential operations for creating an integral, closed-ended sleeve projecting from the plate. A subsequent stage involves piercing the closed end of the sleeve and trimming away excessive edge material around the plate. At a later stage, reinforcement ribs are provided, along with any additional profiles that are needed. Then, mounting holes and any required slots are pierced. Finally, the completed support plate is cut from the strip.
Abstract:
In a high frequency transistor power amplifier comprising a plurality of power transistors which are disposed in an annular arrangement, the input terminals of the transistors are connected to a common input through separate input matching circuits and a distributor circuit. The output terminals of the power transistors, on the other hand, are combined directly in a common output connection, without any intermediate matching circuits, this common output connection being connected to a single output matching circuit common to all the power transistors.
Abstract:
An apparatus for facilitating a longitudinal adjustment of ski-binding parts having a guide rail adapted to be fastened to a ski and which is provided with two laterally spaced guide tracks. Toothed bars are provided and are arranged between the guide tracks and extend in the longitudinal direction of the apparatus. The toothed bars have associated with them a toothed locking member which is arranged on a slide plate and the slide plate is covered by a guide plate which is supported on the guide rail. The guide plate is adapted to have a ski-binding part mounted thereon. Between shoulders provided on the two plates there is arranged at least one compression spring which urges the guide plate toward the ski boot. The guide plate in the region of its end remote from the ski boot has two downwardly extending projections. The slide plate, which is pivotally supported on the guide plate is movable relative thereto has two shoulders at its end which is adjacent to the toothed locking member, which shoulders rest in the released position of the apparatus on the projections of the guide plate under the bias provided by the compression spring.
Abstract:
A safety ski binding has a connecting member which can releasably engage the ski shoe during chair-lift travel to prevent loss of the ski should the ski binding inadvertently release. The connecting member is U-shaped, has its bight pivotally supported on the ski binding, and has two legs which converge inwardly toward each other. The free ends of the legs are bent inwardly and extend toward each other. A stepping plate is provided below the ski shoe sole and aligned receiving openings are provided on opposite sides of the shoe sole and the stepping plate. The connecting member is pivotal about its bight between an engaged position and a disengaged position in which the free ends of the legs are respectively disposed in the receiving openings in the ski shoe sole and the stepping plate.
