Abstract: A column analog-to-digital converter and the local counting method is provided. The column analog-to-digital converter includes a plurality of analog-to-digital converters in parallel. Each of the analog-to-digital converters includes a comparator and a counting circuit. The comparator compares the ramp voltage with one of the plurality of column signals to generate a comparator output signal. The counting circuit triggers a delay line circuit of the counting circuit to generate first delay data according to the comparator output signal, re-triggers the delay line circuit to generate first re-trigger delay data according to a base clock, and compares the first delay data with the first re-trigger delay data to generate a first counting output.

Abstract: A driving apparatus and an operation method thereof are provided. The driving apparatus includes a first driving circuit and a second driving circuit. The first driving circuit performs a first driving mode on a panel. The first driving circuit performs the first driving mode during a first frame period among a plurality of frame periods and skips the first driving mode during a first skip period between the first frame period and a second frame period among the frame periods. The first driving circuit outputs timing control signal including a timing that the first driving mode is skipped. The second driving circuit is coupled to the first driving circuit to receive the timing control signal. The second driving circuit performs a fingerprint sensing operation different from the first driving mode on the panel according to the timing control signal during the first skip period.

The touch control circuit performs touch detection on the display panel to obtain a finger press area corresponding to the finger on the display panel. The fingerprint sensing control circuit is coupled to the touch control circuit to obtain a finger press area. The fingerprint sensing control circuit is coupled to the display panel to perform a fingerprint sensing control on a display panel. The fingerprint sensing control circuit scans the finger press area on the display panel in a first direction during a first period and scans the finger press area in a second direction different from the first direction during a second period after the first period.

Abstract: An electronic device, capable of performing a touch sensing operation and a fingerprint sensing operation simultaneously, is provided. Abstract: A display apparatus and an fingerprint sensing method thereof are provided. A display panel of the display apparatus has a pixel circuit array, an in-display touch sensor array, and an in-display fingerprint sensor array. A driving circuit drives the in-display fingerprint sensor array to read a fingerprint image. A current display frame period is divided into a plurality of unit periods, each of the unit periods includes at least one fingerprint sensing period and one or both of a display driving period and a touch sensing period. The driving circuit resets a current fingerprint sensor in the in-display fingerprint sensor array during a first fingerprint sensing period among these fingerprint sensing periods of the first display frame period. The driving circuit reads a sensing result of the current fingerprint sensor during a second fingerprint sensing period succeeding to the first fingerprint sensing period.

Abstract: A control method for an optical fingerprint sensor and a touch controller are provided for canceling or reducing capacitive loading. The optical fingerprint sensor includes a plurality of pixels, and each of the pixels has a first control signal line and a second control signal line. Each of the pixels is further coupled to a first voltage source line, a second voltage source line and a sensing line. The control method includes the step of applying an anti-loading driving (ALD) signal on at least one of the first control signal line, the second control signal line, the first voltage source line, the second voltage source line and the sensing line when the touch controller is in a touch operation period.
