Abstract: A panel display apparatus is provided which includes a timing controller, a plurality of source drivers, a first data path, and a second data path. The first data path and the second data path are both coupled between the timing controller and the source drivers. The timing controller transmits multiple display data to the source drivers via the first data path. When the source drivers detect an event (e.g. error event), the source drivers transmit at least one event data (e.g. notification data) to the timing controller via the second data path to notify the timing controller that event correction (e.g. error correction) is needed.

Abstract: A backlight driving device and an operating method thereof are provided to drive multiple backlight zones of a backlight panel. The backlight driving device includes an interface circuit and a driving circuit. The interface circuit receives main backlight data corresponding to a first backlight zone from a former stage device. The driving circuit drives the first backlight zone according to a main current level in a display refresh period of a backlight frame period, does not drive the first backlight zone in a demotion blur period which is prior to the display refresh period, and drives the first backlight zone according to a compensation current level in a vertical blanking period which succeeds the display refresh period. The driving circuit determines the main current level according to the main backlight data, and the compensation current level is lower than the main current level.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for a display driver system and a display driver system. The method comprises: the control circuit transmitting a global signal and a first signal for a LED driver circuit in each stage to a first-stage LED driver circuit, wherein the global signal includes an command for indicating an operation mode of the LED driver circuit in each stage; the LED driver circuit in each stage determining the operation mode corresponding to the command according to the global signal, identifying a corresponding first signal of the LED driver circuit in the stage, and operating according to the determined operation mode and the corresponding first signal; and the LED driver circuit in each stage except for last stage transmitting the global signal to the LED driver circuit in its next stage, and in response to a completion of operation according to the determined operation mode and the corresponding first signal, transmitting the first signal for the LED driver circuit in each of sequential stages to the LED driver circuit in its next stage.

Abstract: A method for displaying error rates of data channels of a display is provided. A timing controller of the display repeatedly transmits a test signal with a specific format to a first and a second source drivers of the display via a first and a second data channels of the display. During testing, a first number and a second number of times of the first source driver and the second source driver determining that the received test signal does not have the specific format are counted respectively. The first and the second source drivers control displaying of a first area and a second area of a panel of the display respectively according to the counted first and second numbers of times. Accordingly, the error rates of the data channels are presented on the panel of the display in a way that the error rates could be recognized more easily.
