Abstract: A display control device generates a display image including an image obtained by reducing a predetermined range in a captured image based on an image captured by an image capturing device, and causes the display device to display the display image. In an adjustment mode, the display control device generates a computer graphics (CG) for allowing a user to set a range included in the display image and causes the display device to display the computer graphics. The CG indicates a range displayed in a reduced state and a range displayed without being reduced in a range included in the display image in different aspects.

Abstract: An object detection apparatus includes distance measuring devices and a hardware processor. The distance measuring devices are provided in a vehicle and emit ultrasonic waves. The distance measuring devices detect an object around the vehicle and obtain distance information indicating a distance to the detected object. The hardware processor determines a scene in which the vehicle is placed. The determination is performed on the basis of the distance information, vehicle speed information, an image of surroundings of the vehicle, and/or a location of the vehicle on a map. The hardware processor performs, on the basis of a scene determination result, setting of a high-sensitivity area where sensitivity for detecting the reflected waves is temporarily increased, a change of an emission interval of the ultrasonic waves, and/or a change of an emission sequence of the ultrasonic waves.

Abstract: A display processing device is installed in a vehicle. The display processing device includes a hardware processor coupled to a memory. The processor acquires an image obtained by capturing a periphery of the vehicle and generates a bird's-eye view image of the periphery of the vehicle. The processor estimates a movement amount of the vehicle and generates past images whose capturing times are past time points. The past images are generated on the basis of the movement amount of the vehicle and a past bird's-eye view image. The processor generates a display image to be displayed on a display device in the vehicle by combining the past images and the bird's-eye view image. When occurrence of a skid phenomenon of the wheel is detected, the processor generates the display image by performing, on the past images, processing indicating that the skid phenomenon has occurred.

Abstract: A vehicle display control device is configured to perform operations including: performing processing for hindering visual recognition of an occupant of a vehicle on a captured image captured by an image-capturing device; generating a display image; acquiring information indicating a state of the vehicle and information regarding a surrounding environment of the vehicle; and determining whether the vehicle is in a first condition. In a case where it is determined that the vehicle is in the first condition, a display image obtained by prohibiting application of the processing to the captured image or by reducing an application degree of the processing is generated, and is displayed by the display device.

Abstract: A driving support apparatus according to the present disclosure includes a memory and a hardware processor coupled to the memory and a sound wave sensor. The hardware processor is configured to select, as a transmission and reception scheme, either a pulse scheme or a spread spectrum modulation scheme, and control the sound wave sensor with the selected transmission and reception scheme. When the spread spectrum modulation scheme is selected as the transmission and reception scheme, the hardware processor causes the sound wave sensor to successively transmit and receive sound waves by using the spread spectrum modulation scheme.

Abstract: An imaging device images surroundings of a vehicle. The display control device generates a display image having a distance guidance line indicating a position away from the vehicle by a predetermined distance and an auxiliary line to be added along the distance guidance line and having an appearance different from the distance guidance line superimposed on the image of the vehicle surroundings captured by the imaging device. The display device displays the display image generated by the display control device. The display control device generates a display image in which the mode of combination of the distance guidance line and the auxiliary line is changed in at least one position.
