    Abstract: A driving assistance apparatus configured to support a driving of a vehicle at a time of pulling out of the vehicle, the driving assistance apparatus including: a control section configured to determine a movement path from a parking space to a predetermined position of a road region, and run the vehicle along the movement path on a basis of surroundings information of the vehicle when pulling out the vehicle from the parking space to the road region, wherein the control section leaves an accelerator operation for the vehicle to a user while automatically controlling a steering operation for the vehicle at least in a section in the movement path, and switches from an automated driving mode to a manual driving mode in response to the steering operation that is performed by the user when the vehicle travels in the section.

    Abstract: A host vehicle includes a rear image capturing device and a vehicle control device. The rear image capturing device captures an image of an area behind the host vehicle. The vehicle control device detects a lateral position of a following vehicle in the same lane as that in which the host vehicle travels, the following vehicle being reflected in the image captured by the rear image capturing device and traveling in the lane. The vehicle control device determines a lateral position of the host vehicle within a lane depending on the lateral position of the following vehicle within the same lane.

    Abstract: A visual field support image generation device for generating a visual field support image of a vehicle has a camera that captures an image from the vehicle and a processing section. The processing section covers the image captured by the camera to generate the visual filed support image. The image is covered by compressing the captured image so that a compression ratio of the captured image in a horizontal direction becomes higher than a compression ratio of the captured image in a vertical direction by using a depth vanishing point included in the captured image as the center.

    Abstract: A vehicle including a vehicle control device is disclosed. The vehicle control device determines whether an object is a preceding vehicle and whether a brake light of the preceding vehicle is on or off. When the object is a preceding vehicle and its brake light is on, the vehicle control device transmits a braking request that instructs a braking control device to stop the vehicle at a position at which an inter-vehicle distance between the preceding vehicle and the vehicle is equal to or larger than a first distance. When the object is a preceding vehicle and its brake light is off, the vehicle control device transmits a braking request that instructs the braking control device to stop the vehicle at a position at which the inter-vehicle distance is equal to or larger than a second distance being smaller than the first distance.

    Abstract: A vehicle control device receives a collision detection signal indicating that a vehicle collides with an object from a collision detection device. The vehicle control device measures a distance that the vehicle moves from a collision point when the collision detection signal is received. The vehicle control device limits a running of the vehicle when the movement distance from the collision point exceeds a predetermined threshold value, and does not limit the running of the vehicle when the movement distance from the collision point is the predetermined value or less.
