Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may measure one or more synchronization signal blocks (SSBs); determine that the one or more SSBs are associated with a first transmit receive point (TRP) based at least in part on identification information, associated with the one or more SSBs, that distinguishes the first TRP from a second TRP with a same physical cell identifier (PCI) as the first TRP; and transmit a measurement report, associated with the first TRP, based at least in part on measuring the one or more SSBs and determining that the one or more SSBs are associated with the first TRP. Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may, in a first discovery frame, determine whether a discovery resource is available for communication. If the discovery resource is available for communication, the UE may, in a second discovery frame following the first discovery frame, transmit a discovery signal using the discovery resource and puncture the discovery signal during a listening window. The UE may detect the energy of a received signal at the discovery resource during the listening window. The UE may abandon the discovery resource if the detected energy is above a threshold. In some example, the listening window may have a fixed duration and a beginning that is randomly selected from a predetermined set of values. In some example, the listening window may have a variable duration and an end that matches an end of the second discovery frame.

Abstract: Traffic in a first cell may experience interference from or may cause interference to traffic in an adjacent cell, which may lead to undesirable performance in one or both of the first cell and the adjacent cell. For example, a user equipment (UE) near an edge of the first cell may experience appreciable interference based on the reuse of resources. Accordingly, for transmissions in adjacent cells over a same band or sub-band, one UE may need to reduce transmit power in order to yield to another UE in an adjacent cells. An apparatus may be configured to determine first traffic associated with a first priority and second traffic associated with a second priority. The apparatus may be further configured to assign, based on the first priority and second priority, a first set of resources to the first traffic and a second set of resources to the second traffic.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that support group common control channel and bandwidth part (BWP) management in wireless communications. A group downlink control channel transmission may include information from which each user equipment (UE) transmitting a negative acknowledgement (NACK) message can determine its unique retransmission resource assignment and a BWP for the retransmission. Different BWPs may be used for downlink transmissions to different UEs and downlink retransmissions responsive to the NACK messages may be transmitted using the original BWP of the UEs or a different BWP.

Abstract: Dynamically adaptive numerologies for ultra-reliable low-latency communications (URLLC) are discussed in which a base station may determine performance characteristics for each user equipment (UE) that it serves, in addition to detecting any fluctuations in system loading at the base station. Based on this information, the base may be select for each of the served UEs an adapted numerology that provides an optimized set of configurations that assist the communications between the base station and each UE to meet the strict parameters for URLLC. Once selected, the base station signals the selected adapted numerology to the UEs either through broadcast or UE-specific communications.

Abstract: Various types of communication may switch from an unlicensed spectrum to a licensed spectrum. MiCr communication may be synchronized based on transmission time intervals (TTIs), which may improve the duration required to switch between bands. A MiCr system may transmit a signal to temporarily suspend other traffic in a licensed band so that MiCr communication may occur. For example, an apparatus may be configured to determine synchronization between a first radio access technology (RAT) and a second RAT based on transmission time intervals associated with the first RAT and transmission time intervals associated with the second RAT, switch from the first RAT to the second RAT after the determined synchronization between the first RAT the second RAT; and transmit, during a TTI associated with the second RAT, a first packet using the second RAT based on the switch from the first RAT to the second RAT.

The UE may receive, based at least in part on transmitting the information associated with measurements between the UE and the TRP, an indication of resources for a first CoMP cluster of the CoMP system. The UE may communicate with the TRP via a resource pool of the TRP based at least in part on the indication of resources.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to distributed joint access of an unlicensed sidelink channel Each sidelink device may perform independent and asynchronous listen before talk (LBT) of the unlicensed sidelink channel with a respective back-off timer value. The first sidelink device to complete back-off may transmit a joint access synchronization (JAS) signal indicating a duration of time that the unlicensed sidelink channel may be accessed by sidelink devices. Synchronized access sharing of the unlicensed sidelink channel across different active sidelinks may then be achieved through distributed handshake signaling.
