    Abstract: A display device includes: a first substrate; a second substrate facing the first substrate; a light amount control layer between the first substrate and the second substrate; a first line disposed on the first substrate and extending in a first direction and a second line disposed on the first substrate and extending in a second direction which intersects the first direction; a light blocking member disposed on the first substrate and overlapping at least one of the first line and the second line; a plurality of color conversion layers on the second substrate in respective pixel areas; and a partition wall among the plurality of color conversion layers, corresponding to the first line and the second line. The partition wall has a width less than a width of the light blocking member.

    Abstract: A display device includes: a backlight unit emitting a light; a first substrate on a path of a light emitted from the backlight unit; a pixel electrode on the first substrate; a light amount control layer on the pixel electrode; a first polarizer on the light amount control layer; a color conversion layer on the first polarizer; and an angular filter between the backlight unit and the color conversion layer. The color conversion layer includes a phosphor, and the angular filter blocks 50% or more of a light incident to the angular filter at an incident angle of 30 degrees or more.

The providing the first color conversion portion includes providing a first color filter of a first color corresponding to the first pixel region, providing a first transparent pattern corresponding to the first pixel region, and providing a first pattern layer corresponding to the first pixel region and including a first material which converts light incident thereto into light of the first color, where the first transparent pattern is provided between the first color filter and the first pattern layer.

    Abstract: A display panel includes: a window including a display area, and a non-display area adjacent to the display area; a color filter layer on the window; a circuit element layer including: a low refractive index layer covering the color filter layer; and a transistor on the low refractive index layer; a light control layer including: division partition walls on the circuit element layer; and a light control pattern between the division partition walls, and including quantum dots; and a display element layer on the light control layer, and including: a first electrode; a second electrode on the first electrode; and an emission layer between the first electrode and the second electrode and to generate light. The light passes through the light control layer, the circuit element layer, and the color filter layer to be transmitted to the window.

    Abstract: A liquid crystal display device includes a light source member and a display panel disposed on the light source member. The display panel includes a first substrate and a second substrate facing each other, a liquid crystal layer, and a color conversion layer that is disposed between the liquid crystal layer and the first substrate. The color conversion layer includes a light emitter and a low refractive body having a refractive index of about 1.0 to about 1.3. The liquid crystal display device exhibits high color reproducibility and improves external light extraction efficiency.

    Abstract: A display device includes: a display substrate; an opposing substrate opposing the display substrate; and a light amount control layer disposed between the display substrate and the opposing substrate. The display substrate includes: a first substrate; a thin film transistor o disposed n the first substrate; and a pixel electrode connected to the thin film transistor. The opposing substrate includes: a second substrate; a color conversion layer disposed on the second substrate; and a first polarizer disposed on the color conversion layer. The first polarizer includes: a base substrate; and a linear polarizer disposed on one surface of the base substrate. The first polarizer opposes the pixel electrode. The one surface of the base substrate on which the linear polarizer is disposed has a flatness of about 60 nm or less.
