    Abstract: A display device includes: a first substrate; a second substrate facing the first substrate; a light amount control layer between the first substrate and the second substrate; a first line disposed on the first substrate and extending in a first direction and a second line disposed on the first substrate and extending in a second direction which intersects the first direction; a light blocking member disposed on the first substrate and overlapping at least one of the first line and the second line; a plurality of color conversion layers on the second substrate in respective pixel areas; and a partition wall among the plurality of color conversion layers, corresponding to the first line and the second line. The partition wall has a width less than a width of the light blocking member.

    Abstract: A display apparatus includes a backlight unit comprising a light source emitting blue light, a green color conversion material and a red color conversion material, a first polarizer disposed on the backlight unit, a first base substrate disposed on the first polarizer, a thin film transistor disposed on the first base substrate, a second polarizer disposed on the thin film transistor, a first color conversion pattern and a second color conversion pattern disposed on the second polarizer, a first color filter disposed on the first color conversion pattern, a second color filter disposed on the second color conversion pattern, a second base substrate disposed on the first and second color filters, and a third polarizer disposed on the second base substrate and having a polarizing axis same as a polarizing axis of the second polarizer.

    Abstract: A display device and a method of manufacturing the display device are capable of enhancing arrangement condition of a switching element, a color conversion layer, and a pixel electrode, and increasing an aperture ratio of a pixel. The display device includes: a first substrate; a switching element and a color conversion layer on the first substrate; a polarization pattern overlapping the color conversion layer and connected to the switching element; and a pixel electrode overlapping the polarization pattern and connected to the polarization pattern.

    Abstract: A display panel includes: a light emitting device to generate light; a plurality of color conversion patterns including: a first color conversion pattern including first scattering particles dispersed in the first color conversion pattern and configured to scatter the light of the light emitting device; and a second color conversion pattern including second scattering particles dispersed in the second color conversion pattern and configured to scatter the light of the light emitting device; a plurality of color filters including: a first color filter overlapping the first color conversion pattern; and a second color filter overlapping the second color conversion pattern; and a single, low index of refraction layer substantially continuously extending in the surface direction to overlap the first and the second color conversion patterns. The single, low index of refraction layer has a refractive index lower than refractive indexes of the first and second color conversion patterns.
