Abstract:
An air bubble massage bathtub mat system featuring a remote control and a flexible mat is disclosed. The remote control unit communicates with a blower/air heater unit contained in a housing. The housing is connected to the mat by a tube that directs air into the mat. The mat is formed of a flexible polymeric sheet material that may be rolled up for storage. The mat includes a plurality of flexible blocks that are retained between two layers of polymer sheet material that also define the air passages in the mat. Air flows through the mat and exits the mat in small holes that provide small air bubbles to water contained in a bathtub.
Abstract:
A chair having an open seat includes a hydro pad supported thereunder for creating a therapeutic whirlpool effect. The chair is utilized in a bath for treatment of perineal and perianal illnesses. The hydro pad comprises a shallow, substantially rectangular plenum with a plurality of air injection ports through the upper surface. By an electric motor air is forced through the plenum for creation of the whirlpool effect in the water beneath the chair seat.
Abstract:
A bathtub aerator formed of a pair of flexible tubes coupled together at their opposite ends to form a flexible loop for fitting within a bathtub. The coupling at one end is connected to a pressurized air source for blowing air into the tubes, so that the air may blow into the bathtub through numerous holes formed in the tubes along their lengths, to thereby agitate the water within the bathtub for massaging the bathtub occupant. The coupling at the opposite end is centrally blocked, to block off the adjacent tube ends, and is, at least initially, separable from the tube ends so that the tubes may be cut to appropriate length to fit within a particular bathtub before being interconnected with the coupling. A number of spaced apart suction cups are mounted upon the tubes to temporarily secure the tubes to the bottom wall surface of the bathtub, which cups are narrow and elongated in shape for easy manual release.
Abstract:
The device disclosed herein and its method of use offers an accessible, portable device and method for treating carpal tunnel and repetitive stress syndrome sufferers by providing repeated deep tissue massage for a human forearm, wrist and hand. The device comprises at least a pair of massage members, urged together within a frame that may be stabilized on a table top by one hand of a user, between or through which the user's treatment hand, wrist and forearm are inserted and withdrawn for the duration desired. The intensity of the massage may be altered by a compression member which, after being set by the user, does not require the user's continued effort to maintain during massage. In one embodiment of the device, the pair of opposed massage members is maintained in its opened position once the user's arm has been fully inserted, allowing withdrawal of the arm without applying any further pressure. This provides for an effective device and method of massage for an edemic arm.
Abstract:
A limb rehabilitation device is provided, comprising a plurality of rollers with cups and the rollers are mounted on spring mounts. The forearm or another limb can be placed between the rollers for therapeutic massage of the limb and the soft tissue thereon. The cups of the rollers aim to produce compression, shearing, and lifting of the tissue.
Abstract:
Articles for providing synergistic, intense sensations of sexual pleasure for both partners engaging in intimate relations are provided. An article as provided herein is worn by a wearer and stimulates the sexual nerve synapses in the lower pelvic region of the users to simultaneously provide a near-ultimate sexual pleasure experience for each of the persons involved. The articles are washable, re-usable, and provide synergistic effects not conferred by any single article of manufacture ever contrived.
Abstract:
According to some embodiments, a method of promoting hair growth or hair stimulation in a subject comprises applying vacuum or suction using a handpiece assembly along a targeted portion of the subject's skin surface where hair growth or hair stimulation is desired and providing at least one treatment material to said targeted portion of the subject's skin surface, wherein the application of vacuum or suction helps promote hair growth or stimulate hair.
Abstract:
In one embodiment of the tissue massage devices and methods described herein, a tissue massage device can include a base configured to be grasped in a user's hand such that a first surface at a proximal end of the device abuts against the user's palm. The device can also include a massage head extending from a second surface of the base that is distal to the first surface, the massage head having a generally convex shape and including a textured non-slip surface formed on a distal portion thereof. The textured non-slip surface can prevent sliding motion between the device and a user's skin, thereby causing sliding between subcutaneous fascia and muscle that is therapeutic.
Abstract:
A substantially upright surface-adhering self pleasure device and method comprises at least one main body, at least one channel, at least one means of attachment and none, one or a plurality of protrusions, stabilizers, recesses, textures, and stimulators. This low complexity device, when adhered to a substantially upright surface, allows a male to perform safe and comfortable hands- free stimulation to the male genital. The device is generally constructed of a soft material to mimic the tactile feel of human flesh. This hands-free sexual aid device allows males who suffer from dexterity issues and or missing limbs an alternative, discrete and safe means to self pleasure.
Abstract:
A support device for balancing a bowler while bowling is presented. The bowling support apparatus includes a plurality of legs coupled with a base plate base plate, where the plurality of legs extends from said base plate in a downward direction and is configured to be placed on the floor near the foul line of a bowling lane thus eliminating the need to run-up to the foul line. The bowling support apparatus further includes a telescopically adjustable pole coupled with the base plate. The pole extends substantially perpendicularly from the base plate in an upward direction where it's coupled with a handle. The handle is configured to be gripped with one hand by a bowler while the bowler is throwing a bowling ball with the other hand.
