Abstract:
The present invention provides composite materials that contain formaldehyde-free aqueous binder compositions comprising defatted soy flour of no greater than 43 micron mesh particle size and polymer particles of at least one emulsion (co)polymer. Preferably, the defatted soy flour is present as an aqueous dispersion, or is in denatured form. Also provided are methods of making and using composite materials containing the formaldehyde-free binder compositions.
Abstract:
A one-pack type thermally crosslinkable polymer composition comprising a thermoplastic polymer having a carboxylic acid group or an acid anhydride group, and a polyamine compound as a latent curing agent, which is suitably used as an adhesive to adhere a skin material to a substrate of an automobile interior parts.
Abstract:
A two-pack, crosslinking aqueous adhesive, which comprises (A) an adhesive component comprising an aqueous liquid of a polymer containing at least one of a halogen atom, a carboxyl group or an ester bond in the backbone chain or side chain of the polymer molecule and (B) a curing component comprising an active silyl compound containing at least one of an amino group or an imino group in the molecule, which has excellent emulsion stability after mixing the components, long pot-life and excellent heat resistance and is suitable for adhesion of materials which require heat resistance such as interior automotive trims.
Abstract:
An adhesive layer is provided including composite tungsten oxide particles and/or tungsten oxide particles; a dispersant; a metal coupling agent including an amino group; an adhesive agent; and a cross-linking agent.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an adhesive composition for optical use, which is applied to optical devices or display devices and thus may exhibit excellent adhesion performance while exhibiting a high barrier performance based on a low water vapor transmission rate, and may implement both excellent optical characteristics and durability, and specifically, provides an adhesive composition for optical use, the adhesive composition including: a thermally curable rubber including an isobutylene-isoprene rubber having a carboxyl group and an isobutylene-isoprene rubber having a hydroxy group; and a thermal crosslinking agent. Further, the present invention provides an adhesive film for optical use, including an adhesive layer including photocured products of the adhesive composition for optical use.
Abstract:
An adhesive resin composition includes an expandable sticky polymer having a structure derived from a Meldrum's acid derivative, or a Meldrum's acid derivative represented by the following general formula (1) and an adhesive resin.

Abstract:
The present invention provides a curable resin composition and its application to laminate film, which can form a coating film having excellent performances such as adhesion to various substrates at a low temperature of 150.degree. C. or lower, water resistance and chemical resistance, can be suitably used for various purposes of use, and can be used safely. The curable resin composition comprises a carboxyl group-containing polymer and an oxazoline group-containing polymer, and is characterized in that the carboxyl group-containing polymer contains primary and/or secondary amino groups.
Abstract:
This system for thermoplastic adhesives includes (A) a first composition without anhydride groups, containing: a) at least one polymer chosen from the thermoplastic polymers and the synthetic rubbers; b) at least one compound containing at least one group which can react with anhydride groups; c) at least one tackifying resin; and d) if desired, at least one plasticizer; (B) a second composition containing constituents Ba, Bc and Bd which are respectively analogous to the constituents Aa, Ac and Ad, and b) at least one polymer containing anhydride groups; and (C) at least one activator of the reaction between the reactive groups of Ab and the anhydride functions of Bb. Advantageously the activator (C) is wholly incorporated in the composition A and/or in the composition B, so as to form a two-component system.
