    Abstract: The present invention discloses a multi-zone pressure sensitive mat comprises a first electrode and a second electrode, wherein: the first electrode connects to an input port of a central processing unit and the second electrode connects to the digital ground return port of the central processing unit; the central processing unit comprises at least one MCU, the MCU comprises a first ADC unit and a second ADC unit, wherein electrical signal form the input port is split into original DC signal and its AC signal, wherein the DC signal is fed into the first ADC unit from the input port, the AC signal is bypassed through a capacitor from the input port, filtered through a LPF, amplified through an amplifying circuit and fed into the second ADC unit; wherein a preset threshold voltage level and a preset interval of time are stored in the MCU; the MCU detects the presence, the absence and the movement of human on bed by measuring voltage value from output port of the first ADC unit and amplitude of the AC signal from output port of the second ADC unit.

    Abstract: A method for monitoring operation of a machine includes receiving machine operation data including a first data channel indicative of a sensed condition at a first location on the machine, wherein the machine operation data is collected during one or more work cycles of the machine, and extracting at least a portion of the machine operation data, including data associated with the first data channel. The method also includes classifying the extracted machine operation data to identify one or more types of events that occurred during the one or more work cycles of the machine and involving an environment in which the machine operates during the one or more work cycles of the machine, estimating a condition at a second location on the machine during the one or more work cycles of the machine based on the identified one or more types of events, and logging the identified one or more types of events with a plurality of additional identified types of events to represent a plurality of work cycles during operation of the machine over time.

    Abstract: A load cell has a monolithic measuring body. The monolithic measuring body has: a force-supporting section; a force-introduction section; and a linkage section disposed between the force-supporting section and the force-introduction section. The monolithic measuring body has a longitudinal axis between a force-supporting-side axial end and a force-introduction-side axial end. The longitudinal axis is configured to extend in a horizontal direction. The monolithic measuring body further has, in the force-supporting section, at least one mounting hole for attachment of the monolithic measuring body, the axis of the at least one mounting hole extending in the horizontal direction. At least one strain gauge is configured to sense tensile or compressive deformation of the monolithic measuring body and is in a region of the linkage section on a top side or a bottom side of the monolithic measuring body, the at least one strain gauge being oriented in the horizontal direction.
