    Abstract: A vehicle tailgate lift assist support structure is disclosed that includes a vehicle rear end structure, a vehicle tailgate and a lift assist device. The vehicle rear end structure includes first and second walls that extend generally perpendicular to one another. A hinge reinforcement bracket has first and second reinforcing parts. The first reinforcing part is fastened on the first wall and the second reinforcing part is fastened on the second wall. A vehicle tailgate is pivotally coupled to the hinge reinforcement bracket and the rear end structure to open and close by rotation about a tailgate pivot axis. A lift assist device is operably connected to the tailgate hinge and the vehicle rear end structure to dampen opening movement and to apply a closing torque to tailgate hinge during closing movement of the vehicle tailgate.

    Abstract: Drive system for moving a load along a curved path. The drive system includes a base for mounting the drive system, the base having a curved track for guiding the load along the curved path.     Abstract: A swivel-sliding door system for a vehicle having at least one door leaf situated in the vehicle wall in the closed state, and situated on the outside in front of the vehicle wall in the open state while leaving a door opening free. The frame may include a girder extending along the door opening and end flanges provided at the ends of the girder, wherein the movable assembly is movable along the end flanges, transversely to the vehicle wall and the girder, for executing a plug movement and wherein the drive motor effects both the plug movement and the longitudinal movement of the at least one door leaf along the vehicle wall.

    Abstract: A safe locking assembly allows a safe to be securely locked and to be unlocked from a remote location. The attachment has arms attached to opposite side walls of the safe and a swing arm at the front to extend across the safe door. The swing arm is attracted to one side arm by an electromagnet which prevents the swing arm from swinging open to obtain access to the safe door. The electromagnet can be deactivated by a remote switch to allow the swing arm to open and provide access to the safe. The device is useful for safes to which access is needed on a frequent basis to obviate the need for operating the safe's own combination or other lock each time the safe is to be opened and closed.

    Abstract: The coordinator has a pair of spaced-apart limbs pivotably mounted to a housing; one of the limbs functions to hold a door open, whereas the other limb is disclosed for impingement by another door and, as a consequence thereof, causes activation of the door coordinator, i.e., triggers a proper, sequential closing of the two doors, in which the inactive door proceeds to close, while the active door is held open. A carriage slidably mounted to the housing has a lobe which intrudes into the pivotable arc of one of the limbs to prevent that limb from allowing its door to close before the door, held open by the other limb, has closed. A blocking arm keeps the carriage in its lobe-intrusive position, and has a linkage with the other limb. Accordingly, as the other limb permits the closure of its door, the linkage moves the blocking arm to allow the second door to close. If an unusually excessive force is applied to the second door, toward its closure before the other, a rod supported by the carriage moves against the blocking arm, displaces it, and allows the second door to close.
