A magnetic microparticle-packing unit using centrifugal force, a microfluidic device including the same, and an immunoassay method using the microfluidic device are provided. The magnetic microparticle-packing unit includes a rotary body controllably rotating; a microfluidic channel which includes a curved portion in which the microfluidic channel first extends away from the rotation center of the rotary body and then turns toward the rotation center of the rotary body.
Abstract:
A centrifugal force-based microfluidic device for the detection of a target biomolecule and a microfluidic system including the same are provided. The device includes a body of revolution; a microfluidic structure disposed in the body of revolution including chambers, channels connecting the chambers, and valves disposed in the channels to control fluid flow, the microfluidic structures transmitting fluid using centrifugal force due to rotation of the body of revolution; and beads disposed in the microfluidic structures, the beads having capture probes on the surfaces thereof which are selectively bonded with target protein; and a detection probe disposed in the microfluidic structures and selectively bonded to the target protein, and which includes a material required to express an optical signal, wherein the microfluidic structure mixes the beads, biological samples, and the detection probe to react and washes and separates the beads after the reaction.
Abstract:
A system and method of preventing a computer virus infection includes a first network service module which accesses update information regarding an update program to perform a particular network service, the update information being present in a network apparatus connected to the system through a network, a network service loading module which compares the update information with information regarding a program that has been stored in the system and selects one of the update program and the program to be loaded to perform the particular network service, and a second network service module which loads the selected program, to thereby perform the particular network service.
