Abstract:
The present invention relates to a bicycle parking lock apparatus adapted for locking a crank of the bicycle. The apparatus includes a primary lock part and a secondary lock part movable reciprocatingly relative to the primary lock part. The primary lock part defines a recess adapted to receive the crank. The recess is provided with a sidewall such that when the crank is received in the recess, an outboard side of the crank at a first end thereof is shielded by the sidewall. The secondary lock part is adapted to hold the crank in position in cooperation with the primary lock part.
Abstract:
An LED projector lamp includes, in succession along an optical axis thereof, a lamp holder, an LED light source, a light-mixing lens and a cover lens. The LED light source has LED chips arranged inside the lamp holder around the optical axis for emitting different wavelengths of light. The light-mixing lens has a structural surface with parallel lines of protrusions facing the cover lens such that such that the emitted light rays of the LED chips that pass through the structural surface are scattered at least one time and then pass through the cover lens. As a result, the emitted different wavelengths of light can be well mixed before going to the outside of the LED projector lamp.
Abstract:
A method for bridging between a high speed computer processor bus and a high speed output bus. The preferred embodiment is a method for bridging between a GPUL bus for a GPUL PowerPC microprocessor from International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) and an output high speed interface (MPI).
Abstract:
A zoom lens includes a housing, a rotatable adjustment member, a spring member and a lens barrel. The rotatable adjustment member has a ring body rotatably coupled to an inner bottom surface of the housing in such a manner that the ring body is axially moveable relative to the housing when the ring body is rotated. The spring member is a non-planar ring member having two first opposite end portions stopped at an inner top surface of the housing, and two second opposite end portions stopped at a step of the ratable adjustment member. The lens barrel is disposed through an axial hole of the housing and connected to the rotatable adjustment member such that the lens barrel is synchronously movable with the rotatable adjustment member.
Abstract:
A novel composition of recycled thermal-plastic damping material is disclosed. The damping property of the composition remains good from low-frequency vibrations (1 Hz) to high-frequency vibrations (50 Hz) at general operational temperatures. The composition can further be processed by injection molding machines since it is thermal-plastic.
Abstract:
Insertion of a wax guard with a bridge into the receiver tube of a hearing instrument may be accomplished with a tool that grasps the wax guard securely, inserts the wax guard into the tube, and then slides off of the wax guard, leaving the wax guard within the tube.
Abstract:
An invention is disclosed that provides a method for facilitating communication with a Fiber Channel controller. Initially, a data structure is defined that includes a Fiber Channel attribute value, which defines a particular functionality of a Fiber Channel controller. Although the data structure can include a plurality of Fiber Channel attributes, preferably at least one Fiber Channel attribute is defined in the data structure. A user is then enabled to modify the Fiber Channel attribute value. Further, during operation of the Fiber Channel controller, a modification request can be received from a code segment to alter the Fiber Channel attribute. The functionality of the Fiber Channel controller is then altered based on the Fiber Channel attribute value.
Abstract:
An invention is disclosed that maps a Fibre Channel address to a Small Computer System Interface (SCSI) address. A data port is detected on a computer network system and a port target identifier is assigned to the detected data port. Next, a device coupled to the data port is detected and a logical unit identifier is assigned to the detected device. In addition, an Arbitrated Loop Physical Address (AL_PA) is obtained for the device. Further, an address database is constructed that includes a device entry for the detected device. The device entry includes the port target identifier and the logical unit identifier that were assigned to the data port and device. In addition, the device entry associates the AL_PA to the port target identifier and the logical unit identifier of the device.
Abstract:
A heat sink assembly includes a heat sink (50), a fan (10), and a fixing device (30). The heat sink has a chassis (56) which defines a pair of diagonally opposite grooves (58) in respective opposite side walls thereof. The fan defines a vertical through hole (12) at each comer. The fixing device has a rectangular base (35). A pole (32) having a barb (36) extends upwardly from each comer of the base, for engaging with the corresponding through hole. A pair of legs (40) depends from each side of the base. A catch (42) is formed at a distal end of each leg, for engaging with the heat sink. Two guard boards (46) depend from each side of the base. A pair of bosses (48) is formed at distal ends of two diagonally opposite guard boards, for engaging with the grooves of the heat sink.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a convertible child cycle, which includes a cycle frame extending in a horizontal longitudinal direction and curved upwardly. The cycle frame is formed with a slot facing downward. The cycle frame is further formed with a first installation connector adjacent to the front end, a second installation connector adjacent to the rear end, and a third installation connector disposed between the first and second installation connectors. The child cycle further includes a headset assembly and a rear fork assembly releasably engaged the first and the second installation connectors, respectively. With the growth of a preschool child rider, the invention may be readily converted into a tricycle, a balance bicycle or a bicycle by combining the cycle frame with various accessory parts, thereby satisfying the recreation needs of the preschool child at different developmental stages.
