Abstract: A color adaptive frame averaging method for an ultrasound imaging system adds persistence to images. The color adaptive frame averaging is achieved by computing filter weighting coefficients and using the filter weighting coefficients to compensate for aliased color data. Frame rate compensation is achieved by adjusting the filter weighting coefficients. In accordance with the present invention, the color adaptive frame averaging method comprises a filter, such as an infinite impulse response filter.

Abstract: A method for creating a network with a large number or people to view or review live or recorded video streaming from surveillance cameras to document thefts, other criminal acts or other activities which could create a loss to individuals, companies or others. People are recruited to view the videos with a multi-level marketing organization with different levels of membership. Compensation occurs to the multi-level marketing organization when loss through theft or other action is prevented or when the recorded video from members is used to secure payment to the individual, company or other that suffered a loss. Compensating to the multi-level organization is a contracted percentage of the loss prevented or payment(s) received from the offending party, and the compensation to members is a contracted percentage of the compensation received by the multi-level marketing organization. The effectiveness of process may be improved with a social media game highlighting each member's performance to the members at large and by adding a private policing network capable of both locating offending parties and reaching settlement between the offending party and individuals, companies or others who suffered a loss.

Abstract: A vaporizer for use with a water pipe or hookah has electrically heated beating element. The heating element extends through a vaporizer body and carries a cup member atop thereof. A pre-determined quantity of a vaporizable substance is placed in the cup member and is heated to cause release of an inhalable gas. An adapter directs the inhalable gas beneath water surface of a water reservoir of the water pipe. By drawing on an outlet end of the water pipe the user can inhale the inhalable substance released during heating of the vaporizable substance.

Abstract: Conveying gas containing sulfur through a sulfur tolerant planar solid oxide fuel cell (PSOFC) stack for sulfur scrubbing, followed by conveying the gas through a non-sulfur tolerant PSOFC stack. The sulfur tolerant PSOFC stack utilizes anode materials, such as LSV, that selectively convert H2S present in the fuel stream to other non-poisoning sulfur compounds. The remaining balance of gases remaining in the completely or near H2S-free exhaust fuel stream is then used as the fuel for the conventional PSOFC stack that is downstream of the sulfur-tolerant PSOFC. A broad range of fuels such as gasified coal, natural gas and reformed hydrocarbons are used to produce electricity.

Abstract: A scratch drive actuator (SDA) device comprising a drive shoe and an actuator. The drive shoe has a first drive shoe position and a second drive shoe position and is configured to urge a shuttle from a first shuttle position to a second shuttle position. The actuator is coupled to the drive shoe and is configured to expand and contract in response to exposure to thermal energy, wherein the expansion and contraction of the actuator each urge the drive shoe towards a corresponding one of the first and second drive shoe positions.
